She was a lifelong resident of Buncombe County, a daughter of the late Charles Wilkerson and Bonnie Mac Gilliam Moody and the wife of Leslie E. Davis, who died in 1977. Mrs. Davis was a member of Francis Asbury United. Methodist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Patricia Louise Hamlin of Candler; a son, Charles Richard Davis of Atlanta, Ga; two sisters, Juanita Creasman of Enka and Louise Jarrell of Horse Shoe; two brothers, Robert F. Moody or Rock Hill, S.C., and Jack G. Moody of Asheville; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Groce Funeral Home chapel. The Rev. Joseph A. McCombs will offictate. Burial will be in Francis Asbury United Methodist Church cemetery. on September 11, 1984.2
