Louise and Charlie were long time members of the Battlefield United Methodist Church. But, to the family, she will best be remembered for her ability to put together delicious meals for the holidays and special occasions. She kept family holiday traditions alive for as long as she could. Louise was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charlie, her half-brother Darrell Trodgon, and step-father, Jack Glidewell. She is survived by her two sons and spouses, Steve and Linda Blackwell; David and Sherry Blackwell; three grandchildren, Lori Parks and husband Gregg; Robby Blackwell; and Tasha Ganson and husband Josh.      Ira Milford Clifton Ira Milford Clifton, 78, of Sarcoxie, Missouri departed this life peacefully on Thursday, August 14, 2008 at his home with his loving family by his side. Ira entered this life on May 22, 1930 near Battlefield, Missouri, one of three children born to the late Milford and Nannie Mae (Salkil) Clifton. He was raised in the Republic, Missouri area. On March 2, 1950 in Harrison, Arkansas he was united in marriage to Wilma Jean Puckett and to this union a daughter and son were born. He was a self-employed mechanic throughout his life, owning Clifton's Garage. He loved the great outdoors where his favorite activities were hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents; a great grandson, William Turner, III; and a sister, Wanda Owens. Ira is survived by his wife of 58 years, Jeanne Clifton of the home; a daughter, Sandy Rice of Springfield, Missouri; a son, Danny Clifton and Sheila, of Stotts City, Missouri; three grandchildren, Angie Turner, Brian Howard, Reese Clifton; six great grandchildren, Kassie, Wyatt, Kyle, Gabby, Austin and Kimmy; a sister, Wilma Robinett of Sarcoxie, Missouri; one niece, Lori Salyer, two nephews, George Robinett and Milford Owens; great niece and nephews, Aleah Owens, Eddy Salyer and Andy Kessinger; as well as a host of other family and friends.
