     Rex Lee Church Mr. Rex Lee Church, Age 61, of Mt. Pleasant Road, Ferguson, died, Sunday, December 22, 2002 at his home. Mr. Church was born September 5, 1941 in Wilkes County to Cecil Lee and Mildred Marie Whittington Church. He was a member of Lewis Fork Baptist Church and was an Air Force Veteran. Mr. Church was retired from Lowe's Companies. Surviving are his wife, Linda Smith Church of the Home; two daughters, Regina Mathis of North Wilkesboro, Amy Suggs of Wilkesboro; two brothers, Cecil Ralph Church of Ferguson, Kenneth Reece Church of Titusville, Florida, four sisters, Violet Marie Foster, of Titusville, Florida, Jean Church Church, Carol McNeil, both of Wilkesboro, Judy Schrock of Boynton, Beach, Florida; and six grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, December 24 at Lewis Fork Baptist Church with the Rev. Sherrill Wellborn and the Rev. Victor Church officiating. Burial with Military Rites by VFW Post 1142 were held in the church Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Lewis Fork Baptist Church Building Fund, 395 Lewis Fork Baptist Church Road, Purlear, NC 28665.      Mariness Church Mrs. Mariness Church Triplett, age 88, of North Wilkesboro, widow of Jake Triplett died Friday, April 30, 2004 at her home. A graveside service will be held at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Triplett was born in Wilkes County, December 21, 1915, to P. O and Toy Ann Barnette Church. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Three brothers, Cecil Church, Wayne Church, and Hal Church precede Mrs. Triplett in death. Mrs. Triplett is survived by two daughters, Ann Triplett of the home and Donna & Eddie Gentry, Sr. of Clemmons; one son, Ronnie Triplett of Asheville; three sisters, Geneva Cothren and Grace Sebastian both of Wilkesboro, Helen Dukes of Greensboro; one step grandchild, Eddie Gentry, Jr.¹ She was buried at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery, 239 Champion Mount Pleasant Road, Wilkesboro, Wilkes Co., North Carolina.^1,2 Her married name was Triplett.¹ She married Jake Triplett.¹ Mariness Church was born on December 21, 1915 at Wilkes Co., North Carolina.^1,2 She died on April 30, 2004 at North Wilkesboro, Wilkes Co., North Carolina, at age 88.^1,2
