Mr. Eller was born August 13, 1917 in Wilkes County to the late Commodore Oscar and Beulah Foster Eller. He was owner/operator of Champion Grocery in Ferguson of 28 years before his retirement. After retiring, he represented Travelers Protective Association. Mr. Eller was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. He servced in the US Merchant Marines during WWII. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 PM at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with the Rev. Rick Speas and the Rev. E.W. McMurray officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery. Funeral services will be held Saturday 2:00 p.m. at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, with the Rev. E. W. McMurray officiating and Mr. Curtis Greene reading comments from Rev. Rick Speas. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Eller was born in Wilkes County, November 19, 1923 to Harrison Edgar and Elizabeth Ann McNeil Shoemaker. For many years, Mr. and Mrs. Eller were owners and proprietors of Champion Grocery. As a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, she was active in the choir and the WMU. Mrs. Eller was a member of the Home Demonstration Club, where she won many awards for her sewing excellence. She is survived by two daughters, Ann E.
