Memorial services will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday, April 18, 2002, at Oakey's South Chapel with the Rev. Canon James Drinard Smith and the Rev. Richard H. Fife officiating. Inurnment will follow in the columbarium of St. Elizabeth's Episcopal Church with a reception following at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Easter Seals of Virginia, 201 East Main Street, Salem, Virginia 24153 or to the Roanoke Valley S.P.C.A. (New Building Fund), 1313 Eastern Avenue, Roanoke, Virginia 24012. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the memorial service at Oakey's South Chapel. on April 17, 2002.⁵

     Terri Ann Dye was buried at National Memorial Park, 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, Fairfax Co., Virginia.⁴ She was born on April 7, 1961 at Arlington, Virginia.^1,3,2,4 As of March 7, 1981,her married name was Smallwood.¹ She married Edward Lane Smallwood, son of Wallace Buck Smallwood and Selma Sue Moore, on March 7, 1981 at Annandale, Fairfax Co., Virginia.¹ Terri Ann Dye and Edward Lane Smallwood were divorced on October 28, 1982 at Fairfax Co., Virginia.³ Terri Ann Dye died on May 14, 2002 at age 41.⁴
