Tommie was born September 1, 1922 in Ninnekah, Oklahoma, to Thomas David Sims and Martha Elizabeth McDaniel Sims. She was a member of the Southern Ridge Church of Christ and loved her church and the fellowship she received there. She was loved and inspired by everyone she met and will leave a legacy of her love to others, especially to her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Everett Dale Sanders; sons Lonnie David Sanders and Darell Wayne Sanders; sisters, Dibon McGowen and Nellie Anderson; and brother Jim Sims. She is survived by her sisters Wilma Neugent, Bonnie Robison, Wanda Austin, and Lee Anderson; her children, Jack and wife Willene of Oklahoma City, E.C. (Cotton) and wife Jenny of Newcastle, Phyllis Robison of Paden, Tommy Sanders of Oklahoma City, and Mark Sanders of Yukon. She was blessed with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great- great- grandchildren, many other extended family members, and a host of friends. Services for Tommie will be held Mon., July 7, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in the Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in Sunny Lane Cemetery. on July 7, 2008.2

He was a career truck driver and retired from Victory Packaging this last year. In his spare time, Jack enjoyed hunting, fishing, scuba diving, playing dominoes & cards with his friends in his favorite hangout he referred to as his “office.” He also enjoyed taking several cruises with Willene, but his most precious moments were those spent with his family, especially his grandkids. He is preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers: Darrell, Mark and Lonnie. He leaves behind his loving wife, Willene of the home; daughters: Keri D. Crutchfield & husband, Stacy and Tara D. Gower & husband, Charles; brothers: E.C. “Cotton” Sanders & wife, Jenny and Tommy Sanders; sister, Phyllis Sanders; grandchildren: Taylor, Kathryn, & Emily Johnston and Carley, Riley, Cailey & Joley Gower; many other loving family & friends. Funeral Service: 11 AM Wed. Nov. 25, 2015 Location: South Lakes Chapel at Vondel Smith Mortuary South Lakes. on November 24, 2015.3

He was a native of Pauls Valley but had live most of his life in this area. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon in the Yoakum Memory Chapel, with Rev. George Payne officiating. Interment was in the Hillside Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Minnie, of the home; two brothers, Luthers, Antlers, Lester, Portersville, Calif; four sisters, Mrs. Ettie Spangler, Dibble; Mrs. Marve Smalley, Oklahoma City; Mrs. Annie Walker, Pocasset; and Mrs. Lector Ard, Weatherford, Texas. Pall bearers were; Joe Aday, Lawrence Mantooth, Earnest Julian, Knox Murrell, Chuck pritchett, and Ozie Weaver.2 He was buried at Hillside Cemetery, Purcell, McClain Co., Oklahoma.2 He was born on July 17, 1890 at Pauls Valley, Garvin Co., Oklahoma.2,3 He married Minnie T.
