     Randy Ivan Knight Jr. HIGHLAND LAKES, NJ- Randy I. Knight, Jr., age 33 of Highland Lakes, NJ, formally of Rock Camp, WV, passed away Monday, April 14, 2008 at his home. He was born November 28, 1974 in Union, WV, to the late Randy and Marcella Amos Knight, Jr. Randy attended the Lighthouse Church of God. Survivors include his grandmother, Verda Green Knight of Lindside, WV, nine aunts and uncles, several cousins, and special friends Vincent Springfield and wife Heather of Highlands Lake, NJ, Victor Kirby of Wayside and Mikey Walker of Lindside, WV. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, April 21, 2008 at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Bob Ratliff officiating. Friends may call from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. Born at Kerns in Giles County on February 24, 1948, she was a daughter of the late Roscoe H. and Thelma Martin Lucas. Judy had been employed as a Burger King manager in Roanoke and was a 1966 graduate of Giles High School. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Melissa Dawn Lucas; a son, Christopher Lucas; and a brother, Clyde H. Lucas. She leaves to cherish and love her memory, a son and daughterin-law, Charles and Tonya Tickle Lucas, of Pembroke; a granddaughter, Breaunna Rene Lucas, of Pembroke; her sisters, Reida L. Moye and Danny, of Pearisburg, Betty L. Harvey and Mike, of Newport, Becky L. Proco and Darrell, of Christiansburg, and Darlene Lucas, of Christiansburg. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 8, 2008, in the Kendall Funeral Home at 605 Snidow St. in Pembroke with burial following in Angels Rest Memory Gardens in Narrows. The family will receive friends at the funeral home two hours before the services. on March 7, 2008.1

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Thelma and Roscoe Lucas and a brother, Christopher Lucas. She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Judy Lucas Lindsey of Pearisburg; a daughter, Breaunna Rene Lucas of Narrows; her brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Tonya Lucas of Pembroke; her boyfriend and devoted caregiver, Andy Keffer; a special friend, Staci Messinger Carey of Springfield; her special aunts who were like sisters, Darlene Lucas of Ripplemead, Rita Moye of Pearisburg, Becky Proco of Christiansburg and Betty Harvey of Newport. Funeral services will conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Kendall Funeral Home in Pembroke, with burial following in Angels Rest Memory Gardens in Narrows. Samuel Ray Hinkley, 68 of Montgomery County, passed away February 4, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jonah Lee Hinkley and Frances Sue Hinkley; as well as by Roger Lee Hinkley, Thomas Bentley Hinkley, Frank Jackson Hinkley, Vernus Allen Hinkley, Barbara Fay Jennings, Betty Lou Harris, Judy Lynn Bond, and Katie Laura Musselman. Sam is survived by his siblings, Nancy Sue Custer, Rebecca Ann Lovern, Richard Wayne Hinkley, Gary Daniel Hinkley; daughters, Sandra Hinkley (Amy Meade), April Lovern (Joe Kincaid); step-son, Josh Kast; grandchildren, Teresa Bryant, Gavin DeJesus-Hinkley, Tara Dawn Hinkley; and great-grandchildren, Blaine Keaton Price, Daniel Kolson Price, and Maelyn Brooke Davis. Sam was a dedicated farm hand for many years. He loved being outside and fishing. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery. The family would like to thank Intrepid Hospice, Christiansburg Pharmacy, and Medical Associates of Southwest Virginia and his nurse Connie there.3 He was born on July 3, 1955 at Montgomery Co., Virginia.1,3,4 He married Ellen Marsena Martin, daughter of Mervin Haven Martin and Sally Ann Lilly, on June 18, 1977 at Dublin, Pulaski Co., Virginia.1,2 Samuel Ray Hinkley and Ellen Marsena Martin were divorced on October 30, 1995 at Montgomery Co., Virginia.5 Samuel Ray Hinkley died on February 4, 2024 at Virginia at age 68.3
