     Helen Isabell Lancaster was buried at Lancaster Cemetery, Bent Mountain, Roanoke Co., Virginia.¹ She was born on August 16, 1924 at Roanoke Co., Virginia.¹ She died on January 4, 1929 at Cave Spring, Roanoke Co., Virginia, at age 4.¹

     Edna Ruby Hall was buried at High Bridge Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Natural Bridge, Rockbridge Co., Virginia.^4,5 She Edna Ruby Hall Sumner, age 83, passed away at the Brian Center, Friday, the 12th of January. Edna was born in Wythe County, Virginia to the late Mr. Keener Hall, Sr. and the late Mrs. Pearl Scott Hall and was married to the late Mr. James R. Sumner. She spent the last six years in Monroe, North Carolina with her daughter, Mrs. Beverly Eichel. Edna worked at the Natural Bridge Resort in sales for many years. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Beverly Eichel and husband Ron of the home; one grandchild and two great grandchildren. She also has a brother, Mr. Keener Hall of Gladstone, MO; two sisters: Mrs. Janet Russ of Goodview, VA and Mrs. Louise Hounshall of Franklinton, LA. Edna was preceded in death by her husband, James, and a grandson. Richard Lodge Jr. A graveside service will take place at the High Bridge Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Natural Bridge, VA. on Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at 2 p.m. There are no local services scheduled. The McEwen Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Monroe, North Carolina is serving the family.⁴

     Annie Belle Dillon was buried at Evergreen Burial Park, 1307 Summit Ave SW, Roanoke, Virginia.¹ She was born on September 30, 1901 at Franklin Co., Virginia.^2,1 As of November 25, 1931,her married name was Sumner.² She married Thomas Seldon Sumner, son of Dr. James Clint Sumner and Attie Maloney "Atty" Lawrence, on November 25, 1931 at Rocky Mount, Franklin Co., Virginia.^1,2 Annie Belle Dillon died on August 31, 1972 at Glade Hill, Franklin Co., Virginia, at age 70.¹

     Barbara Lee Sumner was buried at Franklin Memorial Park, Virgil Goode Highway, Rocky Mount, Franklin Co., Virginia.⁴ Her married name was Smith.⁵ She married Letcher Coleman Smith.⁴ Barbara Lee Sumner was born on September 10, 1936 at Franklin Co., Virginia.^2,6 As of April 18, 1985,her married name was Davis.³ She married Carlton Lee Davis on April 18, 1985 at Franklin Co., Virginia.³ Barbara Lee Sumner and Carlton Lee Davis were divorced on August 30, 2000 at Franklin Co., Virginia.⁷ Barbara Lee Sumner died on April 5, 2017 at Virginia at age 80.⁴ She Barbara Sumner Smith, 80, of Rocky Mount, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 5, 2017, with her children by her side. Barbara's unwavering love and devotion to her family, and her firm belief in God, provides ultimate peace for those who knew, and loved her. Barbara enjoyed being an active member of First Church of the Brethren, as well as her volunteer work at Franklin Heights Baptist Church. She will be remembered as being a kind, gentle and giving woman, who was always willing to offer help, to those in need. Her greatest joys, were family and spreading the word of God. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Letcher C. Smith. Surviving are her four sons, Herman (Mitzi) Smith, David Smith, Ricky Smith, Tracey (Crystal) Smith; and two daughters, Penny S. Cundiff, Diane (Donnie) Hodges. Her grandchildren include Jonathan (Jamie) Smith, Sheila Smith, Frankie Smith, Hunter Smith, Monica Cundiff, Kimberly Anderson, Brittany Smith, Sterling (Ashley) Smith, Seth (Jordan) Smith, Erica (Adam) Fry, Ryan (Emily) Smith, and Hope Smith; along with step-grandsons, Cody Almond and Dustin Almond. Also surviving are 11 great-grandchildren; and Barbara's special friends at Tanyard Village Apts. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, April 9, 2017 at 2 p.m. at First Church of the Brethren in Rocky Mount with the Rev. John Collins officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park, Rocky Mount. Flowers are appreciated, however those who so desire, may make memorial donations to "First Church of the Brethren" 405 Tanyard Rd., Rocky Mt, VA 24151. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Flora Funeral Service, Rocky Mount. The family would like to thank CRMH, and all who provided care, kindness, and support during Barbara's brief illness. on April 7, 2017.⁴

Stinnett died on June 30, 1976 at Fredericksburg, Virginia, at age 58.¹

Mr. Rorer was the son of the late John B. and Estes B. Rorer. He worked for many years as a security officer for numerous companies in the Roanoke Valley. Mr. Rorer served in the Virginia National Guard. He was a collector of guns and rifles and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Surviving are a brother, Morris P. Rorer of Newark, Delaware; cousins, Margie Beckelhimer and Eva Conner; special friends, Judy and Leon Austin; as well as many other friends and extended family members. Services will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday in the Chapel of Light Mausoleum at Evergreen Burial Park with Rev. Frank Feather officiating. Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel after 11 a.m. Friday where the family will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. The family suggests memorials be made to Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, 3959 Electric Road, Suite 222, Roanoke, Va. 24018.
