He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Beverly Montgomery. He is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, Debbie; his son, Bryant Montgomery (Katie); his pride and joy, his grandson, Maddox Montgomery; four siblings, Jimmie Montgomery (Teresa), Margie Elswick (Mike), Davey Montgomery, and Matt Montgomery (Joyce); nephews, Jeffery Montgomery (Linda), Jamie Marr, Michael Marr (Christina), Chandler Montgomery (Crystal), and Chadden Montgomery (Abigail); dear friend, Roman Bew (Cindy); and many great-nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Jeff graduated from Chickahominy Academy in 1978 and went to work for the State of Virginia General Services until he retired after 36 years of faithful service. He was a long-time volunteer for the Varina Recreation Association. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and country music. Jeff was an excellent cook and enjoyed cooking for his family and friends. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his grandson.2 He was born on October 11, 1960 at Norfolk, Virginia.1,2 He married Debra Gay "Debbie" Whisman, daughter of Roger Wayne Whisman and Norma Gay Price, on March 14, 1986 at New Kent Co., Virginia.1 Jeffrey Bryant Montgomery Sr. died on September 14, 2023 at Virginia at age 62.2

     Ephriam Lee Brinson was buried at New Bern Memorial Cemetery, Trent Woods, Craven Co., North Carolina.2,3 He was born on November 15, 1930 at Craven Co., North Carolina.1,2 He married Katherine Brooksie "Kitty" Gerringer, daughter of Harold Passmore Gerringer and Nellie Almeta Muncy, on April 8, 1953 at Rockingham Co., North Carolina.1 Ephriam Lee Brinson died on June 8, 1953 at Korea at age 22; He served as a Private in the US Army and was one of nine soldiers from Craven Co., NC, who died by hostile means as a result of combat duty in the Korean War.2,3,4 He Funeral services will be held Sunday for Private Ephraim Lee Brinson, Jr., 22, who was killed in action in Korea on June 8 while serving with the Army's 224th Infantry Regiment. The Rev. Charles E. Parker, will officiate, with interment in New Bern Memorial Cemetery. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Katherine Brinson, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ephraim Brinson of New Bern. on August 9, 1953.3
