Mr. Griffith was born December 28, 1946 in Christiansburg, Virginia the son of Marvin Curtis and Beulah Mae Bryant Griffith. He was retired from the Navel Service Weapons Center where he worked in electronics. He served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict in Germany. He married Elizabeth “Libby” Frances Link Griffith in 1982 in Hagerstown, Maryland. Surviving with his wife are 2 daughters, Marie Shawn-Del of Winchester, VA and Sherry Starliper of Winchester, VA; a sister, Karen Robinette of Herndon, VA; 2 brothers, Marvin C. Griffith, Jr. of Reston, VA and Chris V. Griffith of Winchester, VA; 2 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A. M. Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at the Shenandoah Memorial Park, Frederick County, VA with Rev. Anthony Wadsworth officiating.      Martha Frances Sargent was buried at Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Herndon, Fairfax Co., Virginia.² She was born on June 7, 1947 at Harrisonburg, Rockingham Co., Virginia.² As of November 18, 1967,her married name was Griffith.¹ She married Marvin Curtis Griffith Jr., son of Marvin Curtis Griffith and Beulah Mae Bryant, on November 18, 1967 at Winchester, Virginia.^1,2 Martha Frances Sargent died on August 2, 1986 at Fairfax, Fairfax Co., Virginia, at age 39; Died in an auto accident.²

     Phillip Anthony McKee Sr. was born on February 4, 1943 at Christiansburg, Montgomery Co., Virginia.^2,4,3 He died on February 25, 2013 at Gainesville, Hall Co., Georgia, at age 70.^1,2,4 He Phillip Anthony McKee Sr., 70, of Lavonia, Ga., died Feb. 26, 2013, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, Ga. He was born in Christiansburg on Feb. 4, 1943, to Georgia Bryant and Paul W. McKee Sr. His father preceded him in death. McKee was a veteran of the Air Force. Surviving in addition to his mother are a son, Phillip A. McKee Jr. of Houghton, La; two daughters, Tonna Gruber of Sarasota, Fla., and Katy McKee of Des Moines, Iowa; two brothers, Paul W. McKee Jr. of Bassett and Charles McKee of Tampa, Fla; one sister, Shirley McKee of Tampa; his stepmother, Jane McKee of Tampa; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Strickland Funeral Home in Lavonia is handling arrangements. on March 2, 2013.²
