He was preceded in death by his parents John and Lelia Scott. He is survived by his "other half", Barbara Scott. They were happily married for 32 years. He is also survived by five daughters and one son, Bonnie and Roger Smith, Kathie and Charles Davenport, Beckie Sill, Robin Kellam and Eric Bennett, Tammie Athern, and Mark Scott; 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and his brother, Charles Scott. He retired from Pet Dairy, Standard Coffee, and worked for 10 years at D&M Seafood. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home with burial to follow at Rosewood Memorial Park. The family requests donations be made to the charity of your choice. Scotty was a wonderful man with a huge heart. He loved his wife and family and was an avid Nascar fan. He leaves behind a lot of friends and special friends of Bill's. on December 14, 2008.3

Underwood of Callaway; sisters, Nancy (Tommy) Murray of Vinton, Betty (Fletcher) Nichols of Callaway, Hilda Caldwell of Wirtz, Deborah Shorter of Roanoke; number of nieces and nephews; fourteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and good friend, Dawn Greever. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday May 18, 2010, at Flora Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Bud Nichols officiating. Interment will follow in the Yopp Family Cemetery.
