She was born July 31, 1946, in Dixon, Kentucky the second child to James Sr. and Cora Groves. She married Michael Kermit McMichael Jan. 19, 1980, in South Bend, Indiana. Rosa loved her flowers, crossword puzzles and collecting frogs. She cherished her family and talked to everyone about, anything. She never met a stranger. She was a huge, dedicated Florida State fan. Rosa will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Michael McMichael, of Edwardsburg; three daughters, Anne (Donald) Winner, of Elkhart, Laurie (Matthew) Sipe, of South Bend, Shannon Younts, of South Carolina; one son, Todd (Monica) McMichael, of Cassopolis; three grandchildren, Kimberly (Seabrook) Smith, of Edwardsburg, Nicole Simmons, of Tennessee, Emilee Winner, of Elkhart; five great-grandchildren; one brother, James Edward Groves Jr. of Texas; close family friend, Terri Gipson, of Edwardsburg She was, preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Lurena Jones. on February 13, 2020.1

He was born May 24, 1988, in Dowagiac, MI, the son of Holly B. Haines and John P. Haines. He graduated from North Port High School and had been a student at Edison Community College, studying business administration. Nicholas is survived by his mother, Holly B. Haines of North Port; his father, John P. Haines of Tucson, AZ; a brother, John Daniel Haines of Tucson; two sisters, Sydney Haines of North Port and Jamiebeth Haines of Elkhart. There are maternal grandparents, Mary Anne Gailhouse Hoebeke of Edwardsburg and Col. Gary and Pam Hoebeke of Biberville, MS. He has paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John P. Haines of Goshen, IN. Nicholas was an accomplished musician and loved music. He was great with his hands, could fix anything, and loved cars. He had a great sense of humor, was compassionate, and was protective of his sister. He was outspoken, had an unshakable determination and an insatiable curiosity. Burial will be at Adamsville Cemetery. on September 2, 2008.1
