Born in Charleston, he was the son of the late William Henry and Hilda Shober Truslow. A U.S. Army veteran of World War II, Mr. Truslow was retired from Union Carbide. He was a member of Lyttleton Street United Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, Betty Jarvis Truslow; daughter, Amy T. Cantey (Joe) of Camden; sons, James F. Truslow of Camden and John J. Truslow of Steamboat Springs, Colo; four grandchildren; brother, Andy Truslow of Charleston; and sister, Helen Connor of Ala. Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel, Camden, S.C., is in charge of arrangements. on January 3, 2012.²
