     Charles Paul Phillips was buried at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, 5250 Robert Centre Byrd Drive, Prosperity, Raleigh Co., West Virginia.¹ He married Barbara Lea Adkins.¹ Charles Paul Phillips was born on April 8, 1951 at Corrine, Wyoming Co., West Virginia.¹ He died on November 13, 2013 at Eagle Rock, Botetourt Co., Virginia, at age 62.¹ He EAGLE ROCK, Va. — Charles Paul Phillips of Eagle Rock, VA, formerly of Wyoming County, WV, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 13, 2013. His quiet, gentle and humble nature will always be remembered by those who were blessed to know him. One of five children, Charles was born April 8, 1951, at home in Corinne, WV. He was the son of the late Paul Ivan and Vadah Phillips of Corinne. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Barbara Adkins Phillips. Charles taught Sunday school at Eagle Rock Baptist Church and Gospel Baptist Church, near Salem, Va., for several years and he leaves many friends from his church family. Charles held an accounting degree and was a Certified Public Accountant. He worked as controller at Gala Industries for several years. In addition to is his mother, those left to cherish his memory include two sons, Stephen and wife Brianna of Mesa, AZ, and Brian of Glenwood, WV. Charles was blessed with two grandsons, Ezra and Evan of Mesa, AZ. He is also survived by one sister and three brothers, Delois Jordan of Ona, WV, Dennis and wife, Rhonda, of Blacksburg, VA, Everett and wife, Diana, of Flatwoods, KY, and Jeff and wife, Kathy, of Lake Worth, FL. He is survived by many nieces and nephews and a loving mother-in-law Merendie Lea Adkins. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 20, 2013, in the chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Home with pastors Billy Ronk of Eagle Rock Baptist Church and Sam Huntley of Gospel Baptist Church officiating. Following the service he will be laid to rest by his beloved wife Barbara in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley, WV. Friends may gather with the family on Tuesday, November 19, 2013, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. on November 18, 2013.¹

She was a homemaker. Surviving: son, Kenneth Ford of Oxon Hill; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Halidon Cemetery, Green Sulphur Springs, with Minister Barry Waybright officiating. There will be no visitation. Rose-Quesenberry Funeral Home, Beckley, W.Va., is in charge of arrangements. on March 19, 1997.²
