Survivors include three sons, Phillip Ray Bouslog, Gliberts, IL, Lyle Eugene Bouslog, Taylorville, IL, and Keith David Bouslog, Danville, IL; 5 grandchildren; and several local relatives. Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Sat., at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. Strow on January 27, 1957 at Paris, Edgar Co., Illinois.1 Donald Lee Bouslog died on January 21, 2011 at Chrisman, Edgar Co., Illinois, at age 78.1 He CHRISMAN, Ill. — Donald Lee Bouslog, 78, of Chrisman, Ill., passed away at 3:39 p.m. Friday, Jan. 21, 2011, at Pleasant Meadows Christian Village in Chrisman. He retired in 1998 after over 30 years with Illinois Cereal Mills, and also farmed in the Chrisman area for many years. He was born Nov. 12, 1932, in Edgar County, Ill., the son of the late Charley R. and Noma Belle (Fulton) Bouslog. He married Joyce A. Strow on Jan. 27, 1957, at First United Methodist Church in Paris, Ill., and she survives. Other survivors include a son, Garrett Lee Bouslog of Paris, Ill; two daughters, Lori Ann Bouslog and Susan Marie Fox and husband Philip, all of Paris; a stepdaughter, Debra Kay Barnes and husband Randall of Clinton, Ind; a brother, Nye Bouslog of Macomb, Ill; three grandchildren, Dillon Ryan Garver, Joshua Lee Bouslog and Bailey Lynn Bouslog; two stepgrandchildren, Brock and Blake Barnes; a sister-in-law, Anna Lee Bouslog of Urbana, Ill; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers, H. Dane Bouslog, Victor D. Bouslog and W. Allen Bouslog. Mr. Bouslog was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of Chrisman United Methodist Church, American Legion Post 211, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3601, Paris Lodge 268, Ancient Free & Accepted Masons, Edgar County Farm Bureau, Illinois Beef Association and BCTGM 115. His proudest accomplishment was seeing his family farm recognized as an Illinois Centennial Farm in 2010. Services celebrating his life will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 28, 2011, at Templeton Funeral Home in Paris. Burial will follow in Franklin Cemetery, south of Chrisman. Full military rites will be accorded by American Legion Post 211 and VFW Post 3601. Masonic rites will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home, by Paris Lodge 268 A.F. & A.M., with visitation to follow from 4 to 8 p.m. For those who wish, the family suggests that memorials be made to D.O. it! Edgar County Cancer Support Group or to Chrisman United Methodist Church. on January 23, 2011.1
