     Reba Jane Tucker Reba Jane Tucker Caldwell, 61, of 2508 Vassar Street in Low Moor died Sunday, December 18, 2011, in the Brian Center Nursing Home at Low Moor. Mrs. Caldwell was born July 11, 1950, in Alleghany County a daughter of the late Clara Tucker Wolfe. She was also preceded in death by her grandparents who raised her in their home, Estel Barnes Tucker and Ella Bess Tucker, and by two brothers, Joe Tucker and Cyrus Jack Tucker and four sisters, Mary Tucker, Helen Wright, Samantha Freeman Wright and Myrtle Hepler. Reba had retired as a nurses aide from the former Tanglewood Manor Nursing Home. She was a member of the Boiling Springs Fire Department and Rescue Squad Ladies Auxiliary. Surviving are her Husband of 41 years, Junior Caldwell of Lowmoor; three Daughters, Cynthia Birt and her husband, Philip, of Mt. Sidney, Reba Nadine Caldwell and Bobby Mines of Lowmoor, and Elizabeth Alberta Liptrap and her husband, Jason, of Covington; nine grandchildren including Ella Caldwell of Hot Springs who was raised in her home; three brothers, Lonnie Ray Tucker and his wife, Patricia, of Richmond, Danny Tucker of Lowmoor and Leonard Tucker of Covington and several nieces and nephews. Interment will be made in Lone Star Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be George Caldwell, Eric Caldwell, Philip Birt, Bobby Mines, Dustin Scott, Dwayne Burns and Clint Sizemore.¹ She was buried at Lone Star Cemetery, 15.5 miles south of Covington, east side of Route 18, Alleghany Co., Virginia.¹ She was born on July 11, 1950 at Alleghany Co., Virginia.^2,1 As of circa 1970,her married name was Caldwell.¹ She married Junior R.      Robert Monroe Elmore Sr. Robert Monroe Elmore, Sr., age 76, of 9802 Rich Patch Road, Covington, Virginia died Thursday, July 30, 2015 at his residence. He was born December 7, 1938 in Low Moor to the late Raymond Lee and Pauline Caldwell Elmore. He was a heavy equipment operator for Wallace-Byer Construction and a member of Light House Apostolic Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Rebecca Sue Elmore, and two brothers, Ronald Lee Elmore, Sr. and Charles Edward Elmore, Sr. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary Elizabeth Humphries Elmore of Rich Patch, Covington; seven children, Robert Elmore, Jr. and wife Sara of Low Moor, Connie Gunter and husband Lee of Covington, Joe Elmore and wife Amanda of Low Moor, Mary Ellen Elmore of Low Moor, Kathy Lynn Byer of Low Moor, Melissa Jean Clark of Low Moor, and Wesley Edward Elmore and wife Kristin of Low Moor; a brother, Earl Preston Elmore of Richmond; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 2, 2015 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with Reverend Gordon Hammond officiating. Interment will follow in Sunrise Cemetery, Low Moor.
