     James R. Russell James R. Russell, 66, of Martinsville passed from this life on Thursday, September 16th, 2010 at 11:52 PM at his residence. He was born on July 17, 1944 in Indianapolis, Indiana, to the late James Russell and Garnett (Ailes) Chatten. On March 7, 1964 he married Sharon (Shostrand) Russell in Centerton, Indiana at the Centerton Christian Church.
Mr. Russell moved back to Martinsville 8 years ago from New Jersey where he had lived for many years and worked as manager of a mobile home park. He was a US Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam War. During his military career, he was awarded three purple hearts and two bronze stars. He enjoyed woodworking and fishing and meeting with friends to whittle at the park. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends, including his wife of 46 years, Sharon (Shostrand) Russell of Martinsville; son, James (Nina) Russell, Jr. of Wyoming; daughters, Candy (Nick) Bilikopoulous of Las Vegas, Tina (Joe) Rogers and Tammy (Tony) Russell of Martinsville; brother, Phillip Russell of Arkansas; sisters, Amber Fleener of Arkansas and April Long of Tennessee; 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Mitchell Russell. The family will be hosting a private memorial service at a later date.1 He was born on July 17, 1944 at Indianapolis, Marion Co., Indiana.1,2 He married Sharon Shostrand on March 7, 1964 at Centerton, Morgan Co., Indiana.1 James R. Burial will be at Floral Park Cemetery in Indianapolis. on February 19, 2003.1

Ohler circa 1964.2 Robert Joseph "Bob" Corrie died on May 9, 2011 at Florida at age 72.2 He Corrie, Robert J., 72, of Altamonte Springs, FL, formerly of Indianapolis, passed away May 9, 2011. He was born April 23, 1939, in Indianapolis, to Basil and Viola Maxine Drake Corrie, who have preceded him in death. Bob served in the U.S. Army and was later employed for AT&T as a tool and die maker for 30 years, retiring in 1994. He was a member of The Cypress Grove Fellowship in Orlando, FL and also of Christian Tabernacle in Indianapolis where he served as Sunday School Superintendent for 25 years. He was instrumental in helping build several churches. A memorial service will be held Wednesday evening at 7:30 p.m. at The Cypress Grove Fellowship, 745 Holden Ave., in Orlando. Visitation will be Friday, May 13, 2011 from 4 until 8 p.m. at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel, 9606 E. Washington St., with funeral services Saturday at 1 p.m. Interment will follow in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery in Anderson, IN. Bob is survived by his loving wife of nearly 47 years, Connie K. Ohler Corrie; devoted daughters, Amy Jo Wheeler (Joel), and Sue Ann Brewer (Kevin); granddaughters, Alexis Wheeler, Megan and Laura Brewer; sisters, Sandra Henderson (Kenneth), and Sharon Johnson (Bill); brothers, Leslie (Kathy) and Douglas Corrie.
