He served two tours in Vietnam and earned numerous awards and honors. He later went on to retire from Civil Service with the Department of Information Management at Ft. Eustis, where he worked in communications from 1983-1996. Mr. Tayloe was a member of Denbigh Christian Church, where he served as a Deacon. He especially loved reading, and fishing and spending time with his grandchildren and church family. Mr. Tayloe is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Betty Tayloe of Newport News; two sons, Keith Tayloe and wife, Terry, of South Riding, Va., and John A. Tayloe and wife, Mary, of Harrisonburg, Va; two daughters, Rhonda Cole and husband, Rick, of Naples, Fla., and Kelly Mannsfeld and husband, Dr. Christian Mannsfeld, of Williamsburg; one brother, Corbin Tayloe and wife, Flora, of Lewisville, Texas. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, Jason Tayloe, Christopher and Nicholas Tayloe, Lucas and Trevor Caccetta, Chase and Ellie Mannsfeld, Jona Ogden, and Danielle Petty; and one great- grandchild, Kelvin Petty. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at Weymouth Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at noon Tuesday, Jan. 23, at Denbigh Christian Church by the Rev. Cliff Manuel. Interment with full Military Honors will follow in Peninsula Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to the Denbigh Christian Church Building Fund, 816 Moyer Road, Newport News, VA 23608. on January 21, 2007.3

Tayloe of Roanoke; a brother, Richard Terry Tayloe and wife, Robin of Roanoke; two nephews, Christopher and Steven; a number of aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be at the Oakey's North Chapel, 11 a.m. Friday, December 14, 2001, with the Rev. A.C. Hollins, Jr. officiating. Interment will be in the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Oakey's North Chapel. on December 12, 2001.3
