He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Gerald D. Ragland. Son of Terry, Larry and Diedre Crowder, sister, Sara Crowder; grandparents, Gene and Barbara Cowan, Edward and Betty Crowder and Rebecca Ragland. Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. The family wishes to express their thanks to the nursing staff of the Neurological Trauma and Intensive Care Units of Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Services will be held at Melrose Baptist Church on Friday, February 25, 2005 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Larry Sprouse officiating. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Josh Crowder Memorial Fund, P. O. Box 20742, Roanoke, Va. 24018. The family will receive friends Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. at Oakey's South Chapel. on February 24, 2005.²
