     Wendell Duane Eastabrooks Wendell D. Eastabrooks, 73, of Kearney died Saturday, Jan. 20, 1996 at his home. Services were at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23, 1996 at Horner-Lieske-Horner Mortuary in Kearney with the Rev. John McNeill officiating. Burial was at Kearney Cemetery. Visitation was from 4-8:30 p.m. Monday and until service time at the Mortuary. He was born May 11, 1922, to Horace and Mabel (Alkire) Eastabrooks in Litchfield. He graduated in 1940 from Litchfield High School. On May 6, 1943, he married Gwenivere "Gwen" Swanson in Yuma, Arizona. Following his service with the U.S. Army during World War II, he was a machinist and supervisor for Rockwell International. He retired after 20 years, on May 11, 1984. The couple had lived in Southgate, Calif., until moving to Kearney 11 years ago. Survivors include his wife, Gwen of Kearney; and sisters, Myra Snider, Sheridan Wyo., and Jean Cothran, Gardena, Calif. He was preceded in death by a son.³ He was buried at Kearney Cemetery, Kearney, Buffalo Co., Nebraska.^1,3 He was born on May 11, 1922 at Litchfield, Sherman Co., Nebraska.^1,3 He married Gwenivere M. He received his education in the Litchfield school and grew to manhood here. About 8 years ago he moved with his parents to Alliance, Nebr. where he began working for the Baringer Transfer Co. About a year ago he moved to Torrington, Wyo., but continued in the service of this same company. He was an efficient, dependable and trustworthy employee, always faithful and loyal to his task. On June 23, 1927 at Loup City, Nebr. he was united in marriage to Minnie F. Ellsworth, of Litchfield, Nebr. To this union was born one son, Bobbie Dean, now two and one half years of age. ...Those left to mourn his going are his loving, devoted wife and little son...and Mrs. Geo. Weldin, three brothers, Devilla L., and Velda D. of Alliance and Melvin E., of Dillon, Montana, one sister, Mrs. Edith Thureno, of Alliance; his grandmother, Mrs. L. W. Weldin and his grandfather, Mr. Jacob Engleman, both of Litchfield, besides many other relatives and a host of friends. in June, 1935.¹ He died on June 23, 1935 at Scottsbluff, Scotts Bluff Co., Nebraska, at age 28.^1,2

     Lavonne Ellsworth was buried at Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park, 5701 Center Street, Omaha, Douglas Co., Nebraska.⁵ Her married name was Beaumont.² She and Don D. Preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Martha Ellsworth; brother, Larry Ellsworth; and nephew, Kirk Ellsworth.      Don D. Beaumont Don D. Beaumont, age 62, of Omaha, died Nov. 24, 2000 after a battle with cancer. Memorial services were at 1:30 p.m. on Nov. 27, 2000 at Boyd Braman Mortuary in Omaha with Rev. Don Sarton officiating. Burial was in Hillcrest cemetery in Omaha. Mr. Beaumont was born to Harold and Bess Beaumont on Sept. 16, 1938 at Octavia. He graduated from Litchfield High School in 1955. He moved to Omaha in 1955 and became a member of local 538 Cement Finishers Union. Later he started Beaumont Concrete Construction and ran that until his death. He is survived by his wife, Judy of Omaha; one son, Jerry of Omaha, Two daughters, Pam and Cindy of Omaha, three granddaughters, Heather, Shari ad Melanie of Omaha; two brothers, Dean (Betty) of Westerville and Dennis (Fae) of Broken Bow; three sisters, Beverly (Don) Sarton of Colorado Springs, Colo., Linda (Jim) Zeller and Anita (Stanley) Rewolinski of Omaha. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Bess Beaumont.¹ He was buried at Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park, 5701 Center Street, Omaha, Douglas Co., Nebraska.² He and Lavonne Ellsworth were divorced.¹ Don D.      Larry Lee Ellsworth was buried at Litchfield Cemetery, Litchfield, Sherman Co., Nebraska.³ He was born on September 27, 1947 at Loup City, Sherman Co., Nebraska.^4,5 He married Carol DeeAnn Beck on March 18, 1967 at Litchfield, Sherman Co., Nebraska.^6,5,7 Larry Lee Ellsworth died on April 18, 2006 at Kearney, Buffalo Co., Nebraska, at age 58.^4,5 He KEARNEY — Larry Ellsworth, 58, of Kearney died Tuesday, April 18, 2006, at his home. Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Marvin Koelling and the Rev. Matt Fowler officiating. There will be no visitation. Horner-Lieske-Horner Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. He was born Sept. 27, 1947, in Loup City to Eugene and Martha (Hemkin) Ellsworth. On March 18, 1967, he married Carol Beck in Litchfield. Survivors include his wife; sons, Mark of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Scott of Denver; brother, Jack of Denver; sister, Lavonne Beaumont of Omaha; and seven grandchildren. Additional survivors include foster daughters, Stephanie Cunningham of Kearney, Tina Gary of Lincoln and Heather Bordeaux of Omaha; and daughters-in-law, Christiane Ellsworth of Colorado Springs, Andrea Ellsworth of Denver and Casey Ellsworth of Fort Lupton, Colo. His family moved to the Litchfield area where he attended school and graduated from Litchfield High School in 1965. He served in the U.S. Air Force from Sept. 6, 1967, to Sept. 3, 1971, during the Vietnam War. After his discharge, he and his wife moved to Kearney. He was employed at Eaton Corp. as a stockroom attendant for more than 20 years. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, was a soccer coach in Kearney and for several years he and his wife were involved in raising foster children. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Kirk Ellsworth. Memorials are suggested to the family. on April 22, 2006.⁵

Ellsworth and Martha Odessa Hemkin, on March 18, 1967 at Litchfield, Sherman Co., Nebraska.^1,4,2 Carol DeeAnn Beck died on April 9, 2015 at Colorado Springs, El Paso Co., Colorado, at age 70.^2,3 She COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Carol DeeAnn Ellsworth, 70, of Fountain died Thursday, April 9, 2015, at Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church in Kearney, Neb. She was born Dec. 17, 1944, in Kearney to Wayne and Ann Beck. She had three brothers, Delwin, Bill and Dan. She married on March 18, 1967, to Larry Lee Ellsworth, and had three boys, Mark, Scott and Kirk. She has eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. on April 28, 2015.²
