She is survived by her two sons, Clayton "Jock" Young, Jr. and wife, Lynn of Cedar Grove and Ernest "Squeek" Young, Sr. and wife, Pam of Mammoth; one daughter, Amy Beaver and husband, Rob of Elkview; grandchildren, Ernie Young, Jr.(Ginger), Christina Phalen (Titus), Samatha Young, Clayton Young III, Baylee Beaver, Bryson Beaver, and Bella Beaver; and great-grandchildren, Alaun and Leksi; surviving brothers and sisters, Bernice "Sis" Herrald of Belle, Inez Martin of Cleveland, Tenn, Robert "Bill" (Mona) Gray of Cedar Grove, Clarence Gray (Marilyn) of Mammoth. She also has numerous nieces and nephews and precious friends. Service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Cooke Funeral Home Chapel, 600 Old Fort St, Cedar Grove with Pastor Gary Tucker officiating. Burial will follow the service at Ward Cemetery, Ward. In lieu of flowers the family requests to send donations to Hubbard Hospice House and/or Ward Cemetery Fund. Cooke Funeral Home, Cedar Grove is in charge of arrangements. on December 28, 2012.2

Young, 70, of Cedar Grove, went home to be with the Lord on Dec. 21, 2003, following a long illness due to complications from Black Lung Disease. He was born Jan. 30, 1933, in Cedar Grove and was the son of the late Ernest "Jack" and Mayme Young. He was a graduate of East Bank High School in 1951, a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, a past member of Cedar Grove Volunteer Fire Department, where he also served on the Board of Directors and an assistant leader of Boy Scout Troop 207, Cedar Grove. He was employed as a bus driver with Kanawha County Schools, was an employee of Warner Colliery Railroad, a deckhand for Ohio River Co. and a retired coal miner and union fire boss from Valley Camp Coal Co., and a member of the United Mine Workers of America. Popeye was known as an avid hunter, camper and fisherman at his camp in Summersville, W.Va. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and a child of God. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Becky Young of Mammoth, W.Va., two sons, Clayton "Jock" Young Jr. and wife, Lynn, of Cedar Grove and Ernest "Squeek" Young Sr. and wife, Pam, of Mammoth; one daughter, Amy Beaver and husband, Rob, of Glasgow. Grandchildren include Ernie Young Jr., Christina "Teen" Young, Samatha Young, Clayton Young III, Baylee Beaver, Bryson Beaver and great-granddaughter, Alaun Young. Surviving brother and sisters are Ernest Young and his wife, Dolores, of Cedar Grove, Helen Brown of Cedar Grove, Marguerite Ketter of Mt. Vernon, Ohio, Rebecca June Stanley of Cedar Grove, Frances Grimm of Point Pleasant, W.Va., Kathryn Allison of St. Albans, Eunice Ann Turner of Charleston. He also has numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews and precious friends, including Paul Eikler who was like a son to him. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2003, at Cooke Funeral Home in Cedar Grove with Pastor Gary Tucker and Brother Bill Mooney officiating. Burial will follow at Ward Cemetery with military rites by Gauley Bridge, WV, V.F.W. Post No. 8366. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2003, at the funeral home.      Sarah Elizabeth Kimbler Sarah E. Kimbler Reisinger, 74, of North Lewisburg died Sunday evening, February 24, at the McAuley Center in Urbana. A dedicated Christian, she went home to be with her Lord and Savior following an extended illness. She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Marysville, a graduate of the new Triad High School, and she enjoyed her family, especially her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Sarah was born December 18, 1938 at home in North Lewisburg to the late Joseph L and Inez A Gray Kimbler. She was married April 9, 1956 in Urbana to James C Reisinger, who preceded her in death September 24, 2007. She was also preceded in death by a sister DeVonna Miller. She is survived by her children; Vicki (Lewis) Rogan of Urbana, James R (Dixie) Reisinger of Raymond, Karen L Miller of Urbana, Larry E Reisinger, Timmie G (Diane) Reisinger both of Richwood, Joseph (Crystal) Reisinger of Marysville; 13 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild; a sister-in-law, Elsie Bradley of Marysville; an ex daughter-in-law Teresa Reisinger of North Lewisburg; an ex son-in-law Rick Miller from Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Saturday at the Iigram Funeral Home with the Rev Peter Hamilton officiating. (Dixie) Reisinger of York Center, Karen (Frank) Miller of Milford Center, Larry Reisinger and Tim (Diane) Reisinger of Richwood, and Joseph (Crystal) Reisinger of Marysville; former daughter-in-law, Teresa Reisinger of Marysville; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a sister, Elsie Bradley of Marysville; and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. at Ingram Funeral Home where funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Peter Hamilton officiating.
