Surviving are her former spouse, Wayne Maxey; her best friend and caregiver, Teresa Andrews; and her church family. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, from Oakey's Vinton Chapel with Pastor Angella Haranzo officiating. Bubba Clark, pastor, and the Rev. Leroy Looper, Baptist minister, Wayne, officiating. Mrs. McCall died Saturday, Feb. 28, 2004, in a local hospital. Burial will be at Letitia Cemetery, east of Lawton, under direction of Becker Funeral Home. She was born Jan. 10, 1923, near the Locust Grove community to Jesse L. and Illa Chloe Brooks Townley and lived all of her life within 2 miles of her birthplace. She attended school at Mountain View, east of Lawton, and graduated from Elgin High School. She married Bill McCall on July 18, 1941, at Letitia, east of Lawton. She worked at Shriver's Store as a clerk for about seven years and then went to work with her husband in 1958 at Biles and McCall Garage as a bookkeeper. She then later worked at McCall's Garage as a bookkeeper until her retirement. She was a member of Letitia Baptist Church and the Jewel Davis Sunday School Class. Survivors include her husband, of the home; a daughter, Marsha Thomas and her husband, Randy, Lawton; a son, Terry McCall and his wife, Dee Ann, Lawton; a sister, Opal Herndon, Marlow; three brothers: Harold Townley, Graham, Texas; Charles Townley, Cyril; and Keith Townley, Elgin; four grandsons: Blake Thomas and his wife, Mandee; Travis Thomas; Nathan McCall; and Austin McCall, all of Lawton; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. Memorial contributions may be made to the Building Fund at Letitia Baptist Church, 2606 SE Highway 65, Lawton 73501. on March 3, 2004.4

Mr. McCall died Saturday, June 30, 2012, in Lawton. Burial will be in the Letitia June 30, 2012, to live forever with her Lord and Savior. He was born Nov. 14, 1915. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law: Marsha and Randy Thomas, Lawton; a son and daughter-in-law: Terry and Dee Ann McCall, Lawton; four grandchildren: Blake Thomas and wife Mandee, Travis Thomas and wife Amanda, Nathan McCall and Austin McCall; two great-grandchildren: Jake and Julianne Thomas and a great-grandchild to be born in September; many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters: Irene Martin, Marie Newman and Alma Jones and a brother, Keith McCall. Friends may call from 6 until 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
