He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Laura Graham Holman; son and daughter-in-law, Timothy M. and Vickie Holman of Danville; daughters and sons-in-law, Jennifer H. and Steve Hunter of Salem, and Julie H. and Samuel Clipp of East Greenville, Pa; grandchildren, Michele and Melanie Brown, Emily and Jessica Hunter, Michael and Casey Ralston, and Graham and Will Holman; brothers, James Holman of Norfolk, Billy Holman and Bruce Holman of Maryland, Earl Holman of Florida and Barry Holman of Herndon, and sisters, Mary Reynolds and Barbara Cupp of Salem. Funeral services will be held at the graveside at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 25, 1997, in Sherwood Memorial Park, with the Rev. Billy White officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at John M. Oakey and Son in Salem. on March 24, 1997.3

Holman, son of Richard Weir Holman and Verna Woodward, circa 1946.3,1 Ernestine "Teny" Craft died on July 10, 1995 at Norfolk, Virginia, at age 67.2,1 She Ernestine C. "Teny" Holman, 68, of the 3900 block of Sunstream Parkway, a homemaker, died July 10, 1995 in Norfolk. Mrs. Holman was born in Martin County, N.C. She was a member of Holland Road Baptist Church and a nursery worker for 40 years. Survivors include her husband, James L. Holman; three daughters, Joyce Ryan of Norfolk, Nancy Holman of Virginia Beach and Mary Matthews of Kansas; a son, James A. Holman of California; three sisters, Mildred Ward of Urbana, Va., Edna Harmon of Virginia Beach and Janie Owens of Florida; two brothers, Marvin Ray Craft of Jacksonville, Fla., and Albert B. Craft Jr. of Norfolk; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Rosewood Memorial Park, Witchduck Road, by the Rev. Rob Pittman and the Rev. James Bradshaw. The family will receive friends at Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight and at the home of Mr. James L.
