She was a resident of Lanexa for the past six years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Astridge Pouge Lindsey, and one son, Dale Allen Daniels. She is survived by her sons, Danny Lee Daniels of Lanexa, Gary Lynn Daniels of West Virginia, Franklin Pete Daniels of West Virginia, Bruce Edward Daniels and his wife, Jacki, of Toano; a daughter, Becky Ann Kincaid of Mississippi; seven grandchildren, Jennifer Marie Lakes, Larry Kincaid Jr., Shawn Daniels, Bryan Daniels, Franklin Daniels Jr., Stacey Daniels and Bruce Edward Daniels Jr. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 1, at Bucktrout Funeral Home. Arrangements by Bucktrout of Williamsburg. on September 1, 2004.1

     Astridge Duane “Dane” Lindsey was buried at Sunset Memorial Park, Beckley, Raleigh Co., West Virginia.1 He married Rosie Smith.1 Astridge Duane “Dane” Lindsey was born on February 3, 1934 at Pulaski, Pulaski Co., Virginia.1 He died on June 22, 2006 at Shady Spring, Raleigh Co., West Virginia, at age 72.1 He Astridge Duane “Dane” Lindsey, 72, of 268 Canterbury Drive, Shady Spring, died Thursday, June 22, 2006, at his home following a long illness. Born in Pulaski, Va., on Feb. 3, 1934, he was the son of the late Astridge and Iva Cole Lindsey. Mr. Lindsey was a retired employee of the U.S. Postal Service in Washington, D.C., with 34 years of service. He attended the Church of God Family Worship Center in Beckley. He had made his home at Shady Spring for the past two years. Mr. Lindsey was preceded in death by a sister, Iva McGhee; and brothers, Richard, Robert, John and Ival Lindsey. Surviving are his wife, Rosie Smith Lindsey; a son, Michael D. Lindsey of Mabscott; a sister, Rose Gargon and husband, Bill, of Madison; brothers, Jerry Lindsey and wife, Helen, of Roanoke, Va., Ronald Lindsey and wife, Margaret, of Lookout and Donald Lindsey and wife, Dawn, of Crab Orchard; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside rites and burial will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Sunset Memorial Park, Beckley, with Pastor Mark Schrade officiating. Men of the Church of God Family Worship Center will serve as pallbearers. on June 25, 2006.1

     John Wayne Lindsey was born on February 11, 1936 at Stotesbury, Raleigh Co., West Virginia.2,4 He died on June 18, 2005 at Crab Orchard, Raleigh Co., West Virginia, at age 69.2,4 He John Wayne Lindsey of the Green Valley Addition, Crab Orchard, W.Va., died on June 18, 2005 (should be 1936), at his home. He was 69 years of age. Born at Stotesbury on Feb. 11, 2005, he was the son of the late Astridge and Iva Cole Lindsey. John spent his childhood at Stotesbury, where he graduated from Mark Twain High School, Class of 1954. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran serving in the Korean Conflict. John had attended West Virginia Tech and was employed by the West Virginia Parkway Authority as an electrician. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Iva McGee; and three brothers, Richard, Robert, and Ival Lindsey. Survivors included a sister, Rose Gargon of Madison; four brothers, Dane Lindsey of Shady Spring; Jerry Lindsey of Roanoke, Va; Don Lindsey of Crab Orchard; and Ron Lindsey of Lookout. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, in the Melton Mortuary Chapel. Friends may call one hour prior to services on Tuesday. on July 3, 2005.2
