     John Davis Breeden was buried at Farris Mines Cemetery, Pulaski Co., Virginia.1,2 He married Lenora Belle "Polly" Farris.2,3 John Davis Breeden was born on June 3, 1893 at Allisonia, Pulaski Co., Virginia.1,2 He died on May 17, 1975 at Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia, at age 81.1,2 He John Davis Breeden, 81, of Allisonia, died Saturday night in Veterans Hospital in Salem. Born June 3, 1893, in Allisonia, he was the son of the late John Breeden and Nancy Elizabeth Lindsey Breeden. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Lenora Belle Farris Breeden, and two brothers, William Breeden of Allisonia and Perry Breeden of Torra Alta, W. Va. The funeral was to be held today at 2 p.m. at Farris Mines Chrisitan Church with the Rev. Howard Bruce and the Rev. Paul Smucker officiating. Burial was to follow in the church cemetery. Stickler's Funeral Home in Pulaski is handling arrangements. on May 19, 1975.2

     Lenora Belle "Polly" Farris was buried at Farris Mines Cemetery, Pulaski Co., Virginia.2 Her married name was Breeden.1 She married John Davis Breeden, son of John William Breeden and Nancy Elizabeth "Nannie" Lindsey.1,2 Lenora Belle "Polly" Farris was born on October 31, 1908 at Allisonia, Pulaski Co., Virginia.2 She died on June 8, 1987 at Covington, Alleghany Co., Virginia, at age 78.2 She Lenora Belle (Polly) Farris Breeden, 78, of Rt 5, Mallow Rd., Covington, Va., died early Monday morning at the home of her sister, Mrs. Maude Persinger Chandler. Born October 31, 1908 in Allisonia, she was the daughter of the late William Harrison Farris and Carline Elizabeth Fugate Farris. She was a member of the Farris Mines Christian Church, Allisonia and was preceded in death by her husband, John Davis Breeden. Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Maude Persinger Chandler, Covington and a number of nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Farris Mines Christian Church cemetery with Rev. Gary McGrew of Covington officiating. Interment will be in the Farris Mines Christian Church cemetery. Visiting will be this evening from 7p.m. to 9 p.m. at Bower Funeral Chapel, 1631 Bob White Blvd., Pulaski. Bower Funeral Chapel is handling arrangements. on June 9, 1987.2
