He retired as a lab technician from Laughlin Memorial Hospital. Mr. Moore was a Protestant. He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served as a medic. Mr. Moore was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Andrew Johnson Post No. 1990, and the Moose Lodge of Greeneville. Survivors include a brother: Alpha Moore of Greeneville; a sister: Louise Williams of Limestone; numerous nieces and nephews, including a special nephew: Elliot Hagerty of Greeneville; his special friends: J. D. Reynolds and Herbert Reynolds; and a number of friends at Plaza Towers. He was a son of the late Hubert and Tilda Holt Moore and was preceded in death by a brother: Robert F. Moore; and a niece: Cynthia Moore Hagerty. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Kiser Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow visitation at 8 o'clock in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Rocky Johnson and Gordon Miller will officiate. A committal service will be held at 11 o'clock Monday morning in Andrew Johnson National Cemetery. VFW Post No. 1990, American Legion Post No. #64, and the Tennessee National Guard will conduct a military graveside rite. Pallbearers will be Randy Moore, Keith Davison, Bob Browning, Herbert Reynolds, J.D. Reynolds, and Matthew Chandley. on December 14, 2005.4

Survivors include his wife of 59 years: Edna Graham Moore; a son: Randy Moore of Mosheim; a grandson: Elliot Hagerty of Mooresville, N.C; a sister: Louise Williams of Limestone; a brother-in-law and his wife: Walter and Tricia Graham of Greeneville; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was a son of the late Hubert and Tilda Holt Moore and was preceded in death by a daughter: Cynthia Moore Hagerty; and two brothers: Robert Moore and Wade Moore. The family received friends from 5-7 p.m. Saturday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home. The funeral service was held at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon in the funeral home chapel. Interment was in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens. The Rev. Steve Tuck and the Rev. Dennis Shumate officiated. Pallbearers were the members of the Seekers Sunday School Class at Mount Hebron UM Church. on December 8, 2008.3
