Hall) Mr. Wilbur T. "Fergie" Ferguson Sr. age 76 beloved husband of 53 years to Mrs. Jean Heiss Ferguson and son of the late Mr. Charles Ferguson and the late Mrs. Helen Palmer Ferguson. A private graveside service will be held Thursday December 6, 2012 at Aiken Memorial Park with Chaplain John Bower officiating with military honors. Mr. Ferguson was a native of Roanoke, VA and made Aiken County his home for the past 40 years. He was a retired Scalar at Pepperidge Farm Inc. Aiken Plant with 14 years of service. Mr. Ferguson was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Nazarene Church in Pelion, SC. Additional survivors in-clude two sons, Wilbur Thomas (Agnes) Ferguson, Jr., Fayetteville, NC, Charles Edward Ferguson, Kitchings Mill; one daughter, Lori Jean Ferguson (Robert) Newell, Kitchings Mill; four brothers, Melvin Ferguson, Virginia, Charles Ferguson, Virginia, Donnie Ferguson, North Carolina, Glen Ferguson, Oregon; one sister, Barbara Leffell, Virginia; two grandchildren, Robert Joseph Newell and Christopher Elijah Newell; a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, especially his buddy Ray Strang. Fergie's easy going lifestyle and love for his family and friends will be missed. God was and is good to all of us for giving us all such good memories of the many years Fergie was in our lives. We will cherish them all for as long as we live here on this earth until we will be with him again in Heaven. In lieu of flowers the family has suggested that memorials be made to the Georgia Health Sciences Medical Center Childrens Hospital, 1120 15th Street, Augusta, GA 30912. The family would like to express many thanks to the staff at UniPac and to United Hospice for all their support to us as a family, their love and care they gave Fergie. May God bless you all. There was a new twinkling star in the sky Monday night, December 3, 2012. A visitation with the family will be held 6-8 pm Wednesday December 5, 2012 on December 4, 2012.1

Leffell died on May 25, 2013 at Virginia at age 81.3 He Donald E. Leffell, 81, of Roanoke, left this earth Saturday May 25, 2013. He was retired from the VA Medical Center and served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Saipan. He enjoyed spending time at the lake with his family as well as restoring antique tractors. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Stella Leffell. Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Barbara Leffell, daughters, Janice Leffell (Donnie), Cindy Ward (Charlie), Freda McKee (Bernie); grandchildren, Hope Perrin, (Scott), Greg Ward, Brian McKee; great- grandchildren, Cody and Mason Perrin; faithful companion, Dusty; sister, Leilani L. Cooper; brothers, Phillip A. Leffell (Alice), David N. Leffell (Donna) and special cousin, Punk Hall. Visitation is Sunday May 26, 2013 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Oakey's Vinton Chapel. There will be a graveside service at 11:30 a.m. on Monday May 27, 2013 at Mayflower Hills Baptist Church Cemetery officiated by the Rev. Eddie Dean.
