     Robert Edward Radford was buried at Radford Cemetery, Fort Lewis Mountain, Roanoke Co., Virginia.¹ He was born on September 4, 1970.² He died on December 15, 2008 at Virginia at age 38.^1,2 He Robert Edward Radford, 38, of Elliston, Va., went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 15, 2008. He is survived by his fiance, Sheena Hicks, of Elliston; mother and stepfather, Brenda and Allen Wirt, of Christiansburg; father and stepmother, Warren and Mary Ann Radford, of Radford ; brother, James Radford, of Riner; grandmother, Pauline Radford, of Roanoke; stepbrothers, sisters and their spouses, Mitch and Kristie Jearls, of Roanoke, Eric and Susan Wirt, of Dublin, Kristin and Jon Gunter, and Melissa and Mike Mitcham, all of Christiansburg; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and special friends including Bill and Patricia Schooler also survive. The family will receive friends at The New Hope Church of God, Mud Pike Road, Christiansburg on Thursday, December 18, 2008, from 5 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. on Friday, December 19, 2008, at The New Hope Church of God with Pastor T. Michael Bond and the Rev. Ed Gallimore officiating. Interment will follow in the Radford Family Cemetery on Fort Lewis Mountain, Roanoke County.      John Jefferson Akers Jr. was born on November 11, 1981.² He died on April 9, 2009 at Virginia at age 27.^1,2 He John Jefferson Akers, Jr., 27, of Rocky Mount, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2009. He was preceded in death by his father, John Jefferson Akers, Sr; grandmother, Esta Marie Orndorff; grandfather, Rice Williams Akers, Sr; and an aunt, Jane Elizabeth Funkhouser. He is survived by his four sons, DeMario, Izaiah, Jeremiah and Zacharias; his friend and mother of his three youngest sons, Jolene Harris and her daughter Christin; mother and stepfather, Linda and A.D. Kennedy; sisters, Nichole Carter and Josh LaBrecque; brother, Michael Collins; sister-in-law, Caitlin; sister, Rebecca Clark and husband Marshall; stepbrother, Michael Kennedy; stepsister, Tracey Dixon and husband Dixon; grandmother, Elenor Akers; grandfather, Bruce Orndorff; numerous aunts, uncles; nieces and nephews.      Earl Nelson Kidd was buried at Mountain View Cemetery, 1300 Mountain View Road, Vinton, Roanoke Co., Virginia.¹ He was born on November 11, 1970 at Roanoke Co., Virginia.^1,4,3 He died on September 29, 2008 at Bedford Co., Virginia, at age 37.^1,4,5 He 11/11/1970 ~ 9/29/2008 On Monday, September 29, 2008, the Lord called home our angel Earl Nelson Kidd, of Goodview, Va., to reside with him forever more. After 37 years, Earl will now be walking and dancing in streets of Heaven where there is no pain or suffering. He will be so sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. He had an infectious smile that always warmed our hearts and a spirit that taught us all that unconditional love is the greatest gift of all. His memory will remain with us forever. Earl was the beloved son of Ronald N. and Barbara B. Kidd. He is also survived by his stepsister, Elizabeth Ann Roberts, of Van Nuys, Calif; a very special grandmother, Mary Clark and husband, Reginald, of Floyd, Va; mother, Carolyn King Kidd, of Floyd, Va; uncles, Kelly Kidd and wife, Barbara, of Floyd, Va., Lawrence Lee Kidd and wife, Darlene, of Lynchburg, Va., David King and wife, Annette, of Floyd, Va., and Bobby Clark and wife, Vanessa, of Floyd, Va; aunt, Mahala Hailey, of Richmond, Va; and a host of cousins and special friends.
