     Aloma Lyn Argabright Aloma Argabright Meador, 65, of Shawsville, went home to be with her Lord unexpectedly on Saturday, March 21, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 21, 1949 in Roanoke, a daughter of Mary Reid Argabright and the late Lyn Argabright and was an area resident all of her life. Aloma was employed as a real estate agent with Long and Foster Realty and was retired from the VA Medical Center. She served three years in the United States Army Reserve. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Susan McAllister; father-in-law, Sylvester Meador, and an aunt, Caroline Blevins. Left to honor her life and legacy of love along with her mother, is her husband of over forty years, Kenneth "Ken" Meador; her daughter, Sherrie M. Fisher (Bill); a son, Jason Meador (Laura); sister, Belinda "Bendy" Brooks; granddaughters, Brittanie N. Fisher, Hailey S. Nicholson, Caroline G. Meador and Janie McAllister. Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and clients. The family would like to take this opportunity to express their sincere thanks to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital 9 West, VICU, and Dr. Chandler for the care given to Aloma and family.      Dennis Earl Brooks was born on September 19, 1944 at Riverside Co., California.^1,2,3,4 He married Belinda Lou "Bendy" Argabright, daughter of Lynwood Otis Argabright and Mary Bell Reid, on August 18, 1979 at Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia.¹ Dennis Earl Brooks and Belinda Lou "Bendy" Argabright were divorced on March 24, 1988.⁴ Dennis Earl Brooks died on November 27, 2016 at Virginia at age 72.² He Dennis Earl Brooks, born September 19, 1944, lost his long battle with Alzheimer's on Sunday, November 27, 2016. Dennis spent many years working at Medeco in Salem, Va. He also loved to cutgrass, eating great food, and had a special love for music. He is survived by his loving wife, Gayle. His daughters, Lisa Ferguson (Tim), Laura Arnold; step-daughters, Faye Heaster and Monica Redmond (Tim); many grandchildren and stepgrandchildren; and one great grandson; sisters, Cindy Webb (David) and Brenda Finley. A memorial service will be held in Spring 2017. Thank you to the NRV Carilion Hospice team for their excellent help and care.      Jason Lyn Meador The Chesapeake Police Department said that Jason Lyn Meador was found deceased on May 29th. Original Story: The Norfolk Police Department is looking for a 45-year-old man last seen on April 4. The AWARE Foundation said Jason Lyn Meador may be traveling in a blue 2010 Honda Civic vehicle with Virginia tags. He has tattoos on his legs, arms and chest. According to his family, Meador left the Navy with a medical discharge. He needs to take medication and may need medical attention. The organization said he deleted all of his social media and left his phone at home.³ He married Laura Unknown.⁵ Jason Lyn Meador was born on February 15, 1978 at Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia.² He died on May 29, 2023 at Virginia at age 45.³
