Dorothy was born November 29, 1929, in Sheffield, PA, the daughter of the late Ellsworth and Twila Hulings Miller. Dorothy was employed many years as a housekeeper for various families in the Warren area. She was a member of the Free Methodist Church and enjoyed crafts, floral arranging, bird watching and spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her husband, David Preston Taylor; and seven nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her brothers, George and Paul Miller, and two sisters, Joyce and Christine Smith. Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc., 1003 Penna. Ave. E., Warren, on Wednesday, October 8, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, at which time a funeral service will be held there, with Rev. Dr. G.A. Hankins, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.2 Her married name was Taylor.5 She married David Preston Taylor.5,2,8,6 Dorothy M. She enjoyed music, reading and knitting. She especially enjoyed her family and her grandchildren. Christine was also a former member of Chandler’s Valley Grange. She is survived by two daughters, Kathryn Niemeyer and her husband, David, of Youngsville, and Elaine Seeley and her husband, Kenneth, of Saegertown; a sister, Dorothy Taylor and her husband, David, of Clarendon; five grandchildren, Richard Reist and his wife, Alicia, of Meadville, Matthew Esterbrook and Aaron Niemeyer, both of Youngsville, and Tracy Gulnac and Kristie Lino, both of Waterford; three great-grandchildren, Tatyana, Maya and Kyarra Reist; two nieces and a nephew. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul and George Miller; and a sister, Joyce Smith. Friends will be received at Peterson-Blick Funeral Home Inc., 1003 Penn Ave. E., Warren, Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where the funeral will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Rick Hamrick, pastor of Youngsville Free Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. on February 12, 2008.4

Additionally, he was a PIAA umpire officiating baseball and softball games at Meadville Area Senior High School and Allegheny College. He loved his family, the Cleveland Indians, bowling and playing golf and enjoyed working around his house and in his yard. Being insulin dependent for 56 years, he chose to donate his kidneys and pancreas for diabetes research and he was also able to donate his liver for transplant. Survivors, in addition to his wife, Judie, of 48 years, include a son, Doug Battin and his wife, Lynn, of Dallas, Texas; a granddaughter, Marissa Lynn Battin; long-time good friends, Earl and Shirley Reeger of Meadville; good friends and neighbors, Brian, Mary, Morgan and Nathan Krall of Greenville; and nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents. Calling hours are at the Robert W Waid Funeral Home Inc, 581 Chestnut St, Meadville. The funeral service will be Tuesday at 11 am at Grace United Methodist Church, 828 N Main St, Meadville, with the Rev Robert Goodnough, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Greendale Cemetery. on October 26, 2013.2

Wiley on April 30, 1890 at Clarion Co., Pennsylvania.2,3 Charles Ellsworth Walter died on May 1, 1932 at Niagara Falls, Niagara Co., New York, at age 68.3,5 He Charles Walter, 69, of Niagara Falls, N. Y., died there in Mount St. Mary's Hospital on May 1 of a gun shot wound in the left breast, a short time after he had been found in the basement of his home with a rifle nearby. The rifle, a .303 Savage, had been discharged. Coroner W. L. Draper said Walter had shot himself while temporarily deranged. Coroner Draper, after an investigation of the case, said that Walter had been in poor health and had worried over his condition. The coroner said he believed that the man's condition preyed on his mind, causing a temporary fit of insanity. A member of the Niagara Falls Carpenters' Union and the Niagara Falls Lodge of Moose, Walter was widely known and universally respected. He had resided with his family in this city for many years. Besides his wife he is survived by three sons, William F., and Charles E., both of Niagara Falls, and Perry F., of Sherill, N. She was one of those who pioneered the Barnes Cemetery Association and was largely responsible for the upkeep of it. She was also an active member of the Ladies’ Aid Society of the Barnes M. E. church and had been a committee woman for the local Girl Scout troop since its inception. She was born Alice Walter, July 13, 1875 at Lucinda and is survived by her husband and the following children: Wayne Whitton, Barnes; Mrs. Edith Kunselman, Tionesta; Mrs. Beryl Tillotson, Jamestown; and Mrs. Floyd Westlake, of Chicago. Eight grandchildren also survive. Interment will be made in the Barnes cemetery. on October 11, 1937.4

     Myrna Louise Walters M. Louise Eshbaugh, age 89, of Clarion, passed away at her home on Wednesday, May 22, 2013. Born on February 26, 1924, in Monroe Township, Clarion County, she was the daughter of Maurice E. and Kathryn (Shingledecker) Walters. She was married to Robert C. Eshbaugh on October 5, 1942. He preceded her in death on January 25, 2006. Louise was a homemaker and mother who assisted her husband with secretarial work for State Farm Insurance. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Clarion, Garden Club of Clarion County, a past member of the Clarion Women’s Club and the Clarion Civic Club. She was an avid gardener and the many activities of Garden Club. Louise is survived by her son, Kenneth Eshbaugh and his wife Kathy of Indiana PA, and her daughter Myrna Eshbaugh and her significant other Steven Howie of Clarion; two grandchildren, Chad Burford of Clarion and Kevin Eshbaugh and his wife Danielle of Ford City PA; and three great-grandchildren, Cody Burford of Shippenville, Kohlt and Deklyn Eshbaugh of Ford City PA. Also surviving are two brothers, Scott Walters and his wife Beedee of Clarion, Howard Walters and his wife Betty of Roseville; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Louise was preceded in death by her brothers Dean and Jay Walters, an infant sister, and her granddaughters Lauren Eshbaugh. Interment will follow at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Kingsville.3 She was buried at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Limestone, Clarion Co., Pennsylvania.3,4 Her Social Security Number was 180-50-4777.5 She was born on February 26, 1924 at Monroe Township, Clarion Co., Pennsylvania.3,5 As of October 5, 1942,her married name was Eshbaugh.3 She married Robert Charles Eshbaugh on October 5, 1942.3 Myrna Louise Walters died on May 22, 2013 at Clarion, Clarion Co., Pennsylvania, at age 89.3,5
