He was preceded in death by his parents. Friends will be received from 2:30-4:30 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Deeley Funeral Home, Punxsutawney, where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Reed Blystone officiating. Interment will be in North Point Cemetery. on October 24, 1988.5

Calling hours will be Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 .m. at Robert W. Waid Funeral Home Inc., 581 Chestnut St., Meadville, and Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church, 363 Chestnut St., Meadville. Mrs. Galletta was born Nov. 21, 1926, in Venango County, a daughter of the late Charles C. and Dora Hulings Prather. She married Andrew J. Giewont March 15, 1947, in Titusville. Mr. Giewont preceded her in death Feb. 1, 1977. She later became the loving wife of Joseph J. Galletta on Nov. 27, 1982, in Titusville. Della graduated from Titusville High School. She was formerly employed as a nurse's aide and in the business office at Titusville Area Hospital, having retired in 1986. Mrs. Galletta was a member of St. Titus Church and a former member of the Altar and Rosary Society. Della loved her family, flowers, country western music, popsicles, knitting, crocheting, reading, dancing, taking walks and collecting angels. Survivors include her husband, Joe, of 24 years; a son, Vincent Giewont and his wife, Claudia, of Orlando, Fla; two daughters, Victoria (Vicki) Foltz and her husband, Gordon, of Union City, and Catherine Manfre and her husband, Steve, of Prattville, Ala; four stepchildren, Joyce Bidwell and her husband, Larry, of Landisburg, Jan Drost and her husband, Finn, of Cooperstown, Darrell Galletta and his wife, Mary Beth, of North Warren, and Jeff Galletta and his wife, Terry, of Russell; Grandma "Tinki" was very proud of her 20 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; a brother, Raymond Prather of Wesbury United Methodist Retirement Community in Meadville; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Neil P. Giewont; and a sister, Barbara Vanderhoff. Relatives and friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Leo N. Hennes Funeral Home Inc., 203 E. Main St., Titusville. A Christian Wake service will be celebrated at 7 p.m. Thursday. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Titus Church by Father D.G. Davis III, pastor. Interment will be in St. Catharine Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Titus Church, 513 W. Main St., Titusville, Pa. 16335, where she had been a member all of her adult life.

Four brothers, Edward, Clayton, Howard and Raymond Vanderhoof, and a sister, Bennita, preceded him in death. on June 26, 1976.6

Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Leo N. Hennes Funeral Home Inc. A transfer service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Titus Church by Fr. V. David Foradori, pastor. Interment will be in St. Catharine Cemetery. on May 22, 2004.4
