He was preceded in death by his parents; one infant brother, Bobby; one sister, Norma Ennis; and thre brothers-in-law; Jack Ennis, Donald McNeely and John Rowe. Mr. Williams graduated from Fairborn, Ohio, High School. He retired in 1999 from Continental Cement. Ferdie loved yard work, especially when working with his great grandson, Kaleb. Mr. Williams was a past member of the Gold Prospectors Club and Elks Lodge 1198 of Hannibal, Mo. Eldred, died Tuesday morning at her residence in Altoona. She had been ill for five months and three months ago underwent on operation in the Altoona Hospital. She was aged 50 years. Mrs. Eldred was born and reared in Castanea where she resided until 1902. She was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband, a son and a daughter Donald and Dorothy, both at home; her mother, Mrs. W. Richard Harvey, of Castanea, and two brothers and one sister, Charles B. Harvey, Castanea; Frank E Harvey, this city, and Mrs. E. J. Fox, Cleveland, O. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at 3:30 o’clock at the Church of Christ, Altoona. The body was shipped to Mill Hall, arriving there this morning, and was taken directly to Cedar Hill cemetery for interment. on February 24, 1928.⁵
