Eshelman, on April 18, 1913 at Ridgeway, Elk Co., Pennsylvania.1 Agnes Josephine Horton died on October 5, 1960 at Harrisburg, Dauphin Co., Pennsylvania, at age 64.5,2,4 She Mrs. Agnes McClellan of 27 Tan Street, Sheffield, died unexpectedly Wednesday night in the Pennsylvania Railroad Station at Harrisburg, Pa. while waiting for a train with her daughter. Mrs. McClellan, who was returning home after visiting her sister in Philadelphia, was sitting with her daughter, Mrs. Wendall McMillen of Sheffield, in the station waiting room when she slumped over dead at 10:40 p.m. Death apparently was caused by a heart attack. The deceased woman's son-in-law is the owner of the McMillen Hardware Sales Corp. of Sheffield and Kane. She was born at Johnsonburg Nov. 19, 1885 and had lived at Sheffield about 30 years. She was a member of the Sheffield Free Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Mrs. McMillen; two sons, Howard W. of Sheffield and Harold J., Jr., of Fort Hood, Tex; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild and one sister, Mrs. Crowell F. Jones, Philadelphia. Funeral arrangements are in charge of the Borden Funeral Home at Sheffield, where friends will be received by the family starting at 2 p.m. Friday. Visiting hours are from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral will be conducted by the Rev. Dean Fetzer, pastor of Sheffield Free Methodist Church, at 2 p.m. Sunday. Interment will be in Sheffield cemetery. on October 6, 1960.4

Mrs. McClellan is survived by her husband; two daughters, Mrs. John Grandinetti of Sheffield and Mrs. Gerald Leonard of Kane; two sons, Wayne McClellan, Jr., and Kenneth McClellan, both of Kane; four grandchildren; one sister, Miss Ruby Silvis of Rimersburg; and four brothers, Neil Silvis of Coryville; Archie Silvis of Tionesta; Raymond Silvis of DuBois; and Howard Silvis of Warren. Interment will be in Forest Lawn cemetery. on June 19, 1958.2

Mrs. Byham was a member of the First Congregational Church and belonged to its Women's Fellowship. She was a member of Kane Stud Club. She frequently gave entertaining book reviews before local clubs and organizations. Mrs. Byham was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Byham, on April 4, 1962. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Gerald (Florence) Baruth of Lincoln, Neb; two sons, Carl Byham, Jr. of Westport, Conn, and William Byham of South Williamsport; a sister, Mrs. Gladys McKenzie, now residing in Florida; and 11 grandchildren. Friends may call at the Cummings Funeral Home here after 7 o'clock Monday evening. Memorial services will be held at Cummings Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with the Rev. George Bovill of First Congregational Church officiating. Interment will be in Forest Lawn cemetery. on December 7, 1963.4

Melvin Lucas with the U.S. Air Force at Olmstead AFB, Harrisburg; two sisters, Miss Ava Beatty of Emlenton and Mrs. Mildred Brown of Sigel, and a brother Cecil Farabaugh of New Castle. Friends will be received in the Goble Funeral Home, Clarion, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 2 p.m. Tuesday with Rev. John Symons, pastor of the Lebanon United Presbyterian Church of Greenfield, officiating. Interment will be in the Miola Cemetery. on February 4, 1963.3

Mr. Turner was a railroad brakeman and fell from a box car last Monday. He fractured couple ribs but was not considered seriously injured. Thursday morning he complained of a general lassitude and was taken to the hospital where he died within a few hours. on September 28, 1946.5

She spent her childhood in Clarion and after graduating from high school, attended Slippery Rock State Teachers College (Slippery Rock University), graduating with a teaching degree in physical education. She was a former member of the First Presbyterian Church of Clarion. She later moved to California to begin her long teaching and coaching career. She spent the majority of her teaching career at Livermore High School in the physical education department. She taught all students but was especially proud of her work with the special needs students. She was one of the founding supervisors of the famed Livermore High Aquacade, a synchronized swimming extravaganza. After retiring from teaching she worked part-time at JC Penney in California and later in Massachusetts for more than 20 years. She always enjoyed shopping and enjoyed helping others shop. She is survived by her son, Jason Harrison and his wife Karen (Furman) and their two daughters, Amanda and Kathleen of Pittsburgh; and her daughter, Jackie Diaz and her husband Albert and their two sons, Albert Raymond and Andrew of Napa, Calf. She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Beatty, earlier this year. No public visitation will be held. There will be a celebration of life at 11 a.m. Friday at the Goble Funeral Home and Crematory, 330 Wood St., Clarion with the Rev. Scott Hauser, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Clarion, officiating. Interment will follow in the Clarion Cemetery. on October 17, 2012.2
