Dr. Jay Carr will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before services at the church. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. on January 4, 1997.3

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Ralph Barney; her second husband, Charles Musante; and a brother, Neil Cook. Friends may call at the Peterson Blick Funeral Home, Inc., 1003 Penn Ave., E., Warren, on Thursday, February 26, 2009 from, 68 p.m. and on Friday, February 27, for one hour prior to a funeral service to be held there at 11 a.m. Burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery. Gale Winfield Cook died on September 22, 2010 at Fort Myers, Lee Co., Florida, at age 91.4 He Reverend Gale W. Cook, age 91, of Ft. Myers, Florida, formerly of Erie, passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at Gulf Coast Medical Center. He was born August 21, 1919 in Youngstown, Ohio, son of the late Winfield and Mary Bavard Cook. Rev. Cook had been a minister with The Western Pennsylvania Conference of The United Methodist Church. He was raised in Kane, Pa. and graduated from Kane High School in 1937. He was a Captain in the U.S. Army Air Force, serving as pilot in WW II in the Southwest Pacific, Philippines, Korea and Japan. While in the service he married Beatrice Koebley of Warren, Pa. He graduated from Asbury College in 1950 and Asbury Theological Seminary in 1953. He pastored churches in Falconer and Celeron, N.Y., Sharon, Pa. and Erie, Pa. For six years prior to moving to Florida, he was Minister of Visitation at the Christ United Methodist Church in Erie. While living in Ft. Myers, Rev. Cook served as Minister of Visitation at First UMC and as Coordinator of weekly religious services at his senior apartment complex in Ft. Myers. Gale was predeceased by his wife, Beatrice; his daughter, Mary Lynne Cook; his brother, Neil Cook and his sister, Cleo Musanti. Surviving him are two daughters, Rev. Toni Cook and Cathy Cook both of Denver, Colo; one son, James Michael Cook (Sherry) of New Brighton, Minn; four grandchildren, Sarah Cook-Scalise, Joshua, Brittney and Jennifer Cook, his longtime friend, Selmajane Stuchel, and nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home, Saturday, October 2 at 2 p.m. Erie Crawford County Veterans Burial Detail will render honors. Interment at Laurel Hill Cemetery. on September 26, 2010.4

Mrs. Abate was a member of St Rocco's Church, Pittston. Surviving are a daughters, Mrs. Patricia Arnone, Los Angeles, Calif; Mrs. John L. Just, Dupont; Mrs. Geanette Jones, Trenton, N.J; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Funeral will be Saturday at 9 a.m. from Adonizio Funeral Home Inc., 251 William St., Pittston with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Rocco's Church. Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Pittston Township. There will be no calling hours. on September 8, 1983.7

He was a member of Lakewood United Methodist Church for many years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian G. Breed Hulings; a son, John F. "Jack" Hulings; a brother, Blain Hulings, who with his wife Ole, raised him from the age of 3; and eight other brothers. He is survived by a son, Forest "Bud" Emmet Hulings of Edinboro; and six grandchildren, Brian, Brent, Brad, Craig and David Hulings and Brenda Hall; and eight great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Harry D. Glunt Funeral Home, 210 Erie St., Edinboro, Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and may attend a service there Thursday at 10 a.m. The Rev. James Patterson will officiate. Burial will be at Sunset Hill Cemetery, Lakewood, N.Y. Memorials may be made to Lakewood United Methodist Church, 3856 W. 10th St., Erie, PA 16505. on April 28, 1998.4
