Survivors include son and daughter-in-law Mike and Sandy Babic of La Grande; stepdaughters Elizabeth Oliver of Enterprise and Sylvia Hearing of Portland; sister Floy Matthews of Beaverton; brother-in-law Virgil A. Choate; one granddaughter; and many other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ross, in 2000; and two sisters, Louise Choate and Virginia Lewis. on July 3, 2003.2
