She was predeceased by her first husband, Howard Milton Maddrey. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Roy E. DeBrand and the Rev. Sharon E. James officiating. Burial will be in Southampton Memorial Park. He was a retired Supervisor with Hercules, Inc. of Covington, and was a member of B.P.O.E. Lodge # 1065 of Clifton Forge. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Betty Chappell Campbell in February of 1996. He is survived by a daughter, Valenda Campbell and partner Stephanie Wilson of Atlanta, Georgia; three sons, Bernard M. “Mac” Campbell, Jr. and wife Sarah of Clifton Forge, Daniel G. “Danny” Campbell and partner Juniper Healy of Riner, Virginia, and Paul E. In Keeping with his wishes, his body was cremated. A Private Memorial Interment Service will be conducted in Mountain View Cemetery at a later date. There will be no visitation.
