Mrs. Ennis was a homemaker and later in life operated the Oilfield Store with her husband, Elbert. She was famous for her bologna sandwiches at the store. She was a member of the Willis Chapel Church of God for over 75 years. She was also a member of the Willis Chapel Ladies Aid. Mary never wanted to miss a service to sing and praise her Jesus. She enjoyed driving Miss Serena Connelly to town and to church. Her family was very special to her and she always looked forward to spending time with them. Burial will follow in the Washington Street Cemetery. She was born on Feb. 14, 1930 to Claude and Freda (Wright) Yealick.She was a retired machine operator from Pap-R-Products and also worked at V.D. Colson's in Paris as well. She is survived by her son, Loren (Belinda) Veach of Albertville, AL; a daughter, Sandra (Mark) Bowers of Marshall, IL; two sisters, Clara (Richard) Scott and Violet Yealick. She was a wonderful, doting grandmother of five grandchildren who all enjoyed her specialty, homemade noodles. Her grandchildren include, Craig (Kristie) Morton, Angie (Chris) Zora, Shawn (Alisha) Bowers, Jessica (David) Pinkston, Brian Veach, Elizabeth (Tim) Sanders. She was also a great grandmother to eight great grandchildren, Trey Morton, Michael Pinkston, Andrew & Jacob Zora, Mackenzie & Toby Sanders and Chase and Keira Bowers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Veach on Sept. 18, 2006 as well as two brothers, Merle and Paul Yealick and a sister, Wilda Keeney. In his free time, he enjoyed tinkering on lawn-mowers and other small engines, as well fishing in his younger years. He married his wife, Reva on December 22, 1990, and she survives. He is also survived by his two daughters, Melba Pugh & husband Kerry (Robinson, IL) and Verna Stitt & husband Mike (Highlands Ranch, CO); his stepchildren, Charles Ralston & wife Kathy (North Carolina), Cathy Bond & Jace Taylor (Palestine, IL), and Amy Schell & husband Ryan (North Port, FL); his grandchildren, Stephanie Pugh, Christina Pugh, Jessica Pugh, Melissa Stitt, Alex Stitt, Derick Stitt, William Ralston, Carolyn Ralston, Adrianna Bond, Autumn Bond, and Aiden Bond; his sister, Betty Dean & husband Bud (Martinsville, IL); as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Fenton, Leonard and Earl Veach; and his grandson, Jared Stitt. Burial will be in the Palestine Cemetery. on November 8, 2013.4
