The Rev. Ken Kiner will officiate; burial will be in the Alliance Cemetery. She was born July 19, 1905, at O'Neill to John A. and Rachel (Hindeman) Robertson. She moved to Alliance in 1942, and married Clarence Overton here on June 27, 1954. He preceded her in death. She worked for many years as a secretary for PREMA and the Box Butte County probation office. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Alliance, where she served as a member of the Board of Deacons, president of the Baptist Women's Society, and member of the Memorial Committee; Eastern Star, Rebekahs, B.P.W. Club, and Panhandle Forum. Survivors include a son, Larry, of Fort Morgan, Colo; daughter, Gayle Howell, Gering; brother, James, Gering; sister, Rebecca Ernst, Manhattan, Kan; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. on December 21, 1988.3

     Travis Lee Ballinger was buried at Fairview Cemetery, Scotts Bluff Co., Nebraska.2 He was born on January 3, 1981 at Scottsbluff, Scotts Bluff Co., Nebraska.2 He died on March 7, 2007 at Mitchell, Scotts Bluff Co., Nebraska, at age 26.2 He SCOTTSBLUFF - Travis Lee Ballinger, 26, died Wednesday, March 7, in rural Mitchell. Travis was born Jan. 3, 1981, at Scottsbluff, to Gary Lee and Julie Ann (Howell) Ballinger. He attended Geil Elementary at Gering, Roosevelt and Bluffs Middle School, and graduated from Scottsbluff High School in 1999. He worked for several businesses including Scotts Bluff Country Club, Corral West Ranch Wear, Wheeler's, Wal-Mart, CenCon and Currently at Midwest Farm Services. Travis loved to fish, hunt with gun and bow, black powder shooting and was an avid outdoorsman. He made friends with everyone. His laugh was contagious. When he smiled, it made others feel good and made them smile along with him. His funeral was Monday, March 12, with interment in Fairview Cemetery. A memorial has been established to Western Nebraska Archer's Club.
