Barry attended Richardson Park Elementary in Wilmington DE, Riverview Elementary in Creston, NC and graduated from Northwest Ashe High School in Warrensville, NC where he played Varsity football and excelled in every sport. He retired from Preston Ford, in Preston, Maryland as an auto mechanic and opened up his own business in North Carolina. He was an avid outdoor sportsman and loved to hunt and fish in the mountains of West Virginia with his father, brother and uncle. Barry had a passion for working on automobiles. Barry loved his cats and Roscoe was his best friend and shadow. He was always willing to go that extra mile to help someone in need even if he had to drive hundreds of miles to do so.
