She was a lifelong resident of Norfolk, and retired School Crossing Guard for the Norfolk Police Department. She loved life, the Lord, and her family. She had a beautiful smile and those who were blessed to know her loved her immensely; she will be loved and deeply missed forever. on April 15, 2015.2

Left to cherish her memory is her two brothers, Charles (Carol), Lexington, KY and David (Connie), Kenosha, WI, and many nieces and nephews. A Service of Remembrance will be Saturday, March 12 at 11 a.m. at the Melton Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Don Snyder will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset Memorial Park in Beckley. on March 11, 2016.3

Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park. Mary Lou was born in West Virginia on June 24, 1933. She went to be with her Lord on March 9, 2011, after a brief stay at Stanleytown Health and Rehab Center. She was predeceased by her parents Ray Worley and Mary Goard Worley, and her brother, Roscoe Worley. She was retired from Bassett Walker, and was a long time member of Bible Baptist Church where she was a faithful and diligent worker. She was a member of the Hardin Reynolds Alumni Association, and she had volunteered at Stanleytown Rehab for over 15 years. She is survived by two nephews, Jerrell Worley of Patrick Springs, and Ernest Worley of Holden Beach, NC, who was like a son to her. She is also survived by a very special cousin, Amaryllis Weatherington of Bassett, and six great-nieces and nephews.3 She was buried at Roselawn Burial Park, 103 Clearview Drive, Martinsville, Virginia.3,4 She was born on June 24, 1933 at West Virginia.3 She died on March 9, 2011 at Virginia at age 77.3
