He was born on December 8, 1968 in Chicago, Ill., and was a son of the late Virlon Milam and Anna Biggs. He worked as a self-employed carpenter and was a member of Pentecostal Lighthouse Church. Surviving are his wife, Tina Jarrett of Pilot Mountain; one daughter, Alexis Anna Jarrett of the home; one son, Christopher James Jarrett of the home; three sisters, Angela East of Stuart, and Kimberly Sawyers and Sarah McCracken, both of Pilot Mountain. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at Cox-Needham Funeral Home in Pilot Mountain by the Rev. Margaret Hayden. Burial was in the Milam family cemetery. on November 10, 2006.²
