Larry was a former member of Rock Island Eagles. He was a peacetime member of the National Guard. Memorials may be made to American Heart Association. Survivors include his mother, Dorothy Archer, Monmouth; wife, Violet; sisters, Mary (Alois) DeKeyrel, Alexis, Ill., and Barbara (Wendell) Beck, Mary Ann Jones, Doris (Steve) Stoermer and Casey (Mike) Glenn, all of Des Moines; stepmother, Jessie Jones, Des Moines; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, grandparents, aunt and uncle, Alice and Duane Wilson, and sister, Margaret Hill. Violet and her husband lived in Milan, but was very proud when they purchased their dream home in Kirkwood, IL. They loved traveling together. Violet enjoyed collecting porcelain dolls and Isabel blooms. Her biggest joy was spending time with her siblings and their families. Violet is survived by her siblings, Charles (Carol) Crocker, Pauline Peterson, and Rosalie Davis; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Lauderdale with the Reverend Grant Lynn Ford and Dr. Rodney Baker officiating. Inurnment will follow along side his loving wife, Leonor who died in 1989 and is burled in Cali, Colombia. on September 26, 1999.4

Burial will be in LeTort Cemetery, Middlesex Township. on May 18, 1999.4

She was a member of the Webster United Methodist Church, Red Hats, Webster Card club and Eastern Star. She enjoyed camping, boating, square dancing and traveling. She loved her home and her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ed on June 3, 1998, a grandson Gabe Homan and a brother James Morgan. She is survived by her children Larry (Jackie) Homan of Sigourney, Vince (Vicki) Homan of Sigourney, Cindy Homan of Keomah Village, 6 grandchildren, 15 great- grandchildren, 1 great- great grandchild, a brother Ronald (Darlene) Morgan of Ft.
