     David Dean Graybeal was born on October 9, 1940 at Bell Co., Kentucky.^2,4 He married Carol Ann Baugher, daughter of Elmer Asa Baugher and Lara Gertrude Waldron, on June 10, 1967.^1,2,3,5 David Dean Graybeal died on November 23, 2019 at Roanoke, Virginia, at age 79.² He David Dean Graybeal, 79, of Roanoke, Va., passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Friendship Manor South Nursing Home. He was born October 9, 1940 in Somerset, Ky. to the late Joseph David Dean and Hazel Myers Graybeal. David graduated from Centre College of Kentucky in 1962 with a B.A. in History and received his master's degree in Economics from the University of Kentucky. After graduation, he moved to Roanoke where he taught History and Government at William Byrd High School before returning to his Alma Mater, Centre College in 1967, to serve as Alumni Director. In 1971, David returned to Roanoke where he taught History, Government, and Marketing Education at Cave Spring High School prior to becoming a Financial Advisor with Shenandoah Life Insurance Company in 1980 and later John Hancock Financial Services where he received numerous honors and awards. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Carol Graybeal; daughters, Heather Graybeal Caldwell and Tiffany Graybeal Winser; son-in-laws, Gerard Caldwell, III and Edward Winser; grandchildren, David and William Caldwell, and Matthew and Caroline Winser. David was preceded in death by his brother, William Joseph Graybeal, of San Diego, California. on December 1, 2019.²

     Mina Rebecca Underwood was buried at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, 5737 Airport Road NW, Roanoke, Virginia.⁴ She was born on January 16, 1930 at Roanoke Co., Virginia.^1,4 She married Everett Eldridge "Junior" Manning, son of Everett Eugene Manning and Lillian Mae "Lillie" Wilson, on October 22, 1948 at Roanoke Co., Virginia.^2,5,7,3,4,6 As of October 22, 1948,her married name was Manning.⁷ Mina Rebecca Underwood died on November 24, 2014 at Virginia at age 84.⁴ She Mina Rebecca Underwood Manning, 84, of Roanoke, Va., went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 24, 2014. She was born on January 16, 1930, to the late James Otha and Della May Webb Underwood. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 64 years, Everett (Junior) E. Manning. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Barbara Higgs, Louise Tyree, Wilma Likens, Violet Radford, and Thelma Lipscomb; and her brothers, Hanford, Posey, and Melvin Underwood. Mina is survived by brothers-in-law, Wilbert (Faye) Manning andAlton (Olivia) Manning; two sisters-in-law, Gladys M. Moore and Phyllis Underwood; and lots of nieces and nephews. Mina retired from Double Envelope with 43 years of service. She was a member of Ogden Social Service Club and loved volunteering for the RSVP and the LOA. She was a member of Poages Mill Church of the Brethren. The family would like to thank the staff of Richfield Recovery and Care Center and Good Samaritan Hospice Team for their compassionate care. A celebration of Mina's life will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, December 1, 2014, at Oakey's South Chapel with the Rev. E.B. Shoemaker and the Rev. Maurice Wright officiating. Viewing and receiving of friends will take place one hour prior to service. Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Poages Mill Church of the Brethren, 6550 Ben on November 26, 2014.⁴

     John Chapman "Chap" Martin was buried at Blue Jay Cemetery, Raleigh Co., West Virginia.^3,4,6 He was born on September 14, 1874 at Pipestem, Summers Co., West Virginia; His WWI Draft Regstration card has a birth date of Sep 14, 1873.^2,1,3,4,6 He married Octavia Rhoda Frances "Sis" Hall, daughter of Freeburn Asa Hall and Mary Ann Pate, on January 3, 1897 at Hinton, Summers Co., West Virginia.^7,5,6 John Chapman "Chap" Martin died on May 1, 1958 at Beaver, Raleigh Co., West Virginia, at age 83.^8,1,3,4,6 He Funeral services for John Chapman Martin, 84, of Beaver will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Beaver Methodist Church by the Rev. Virgil Cook. Martin, a son of the late John and Sarah Caldwell Martin died at 4:50 a.m. Thursday in his residence after a serious illness of one week. He was born Sept. 14, 1874 in Athens, and had been a resident of Beaver for the past 4 years. He was a charter member of the Beaver Methodist Church. He was employed as a carpenter for Raleigh Coal and Coke Co. before his retirement. He was married to Octavia Hall in 1897. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Octavia Hall Martin; four sons, Grady, Adrian, John and Chilton, all of Beaver; three daughters, Mrs. Frank Treadway and Mrs. Monroe Worthington, both of Beaver, and Mrs. Ray Carden of Cleveland, Ohio; one brother, Thomas Martin of Blue Jay; one sister, Mrs. Leda Akers, of Beaver; 23 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. The body will be taken from the Melton Mortuary top the residence at 4 p.m. today. It will remain there until 1 p.m. Saturday, and then be taken to the church. Burial will be in the Blue Jay Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. on May 2, 1958.⁶

Wosley was buried at Kincaid Cemetery, Raleigh Co., West Virginia.² She was born on May 2, 1895 at Raleigh Co., West Virginia.² As of August 29, 1926,her married name was Hall.¹ She married Vinson Callaway "Blackeye" Hall, son of Freeburn Asa Hall and Shrilda Sara Catherine Ball, on August 29, 1926 at Blue Jay, Raleigh Co., West Virginia.^3,1 Mattie M. Wosley died on November 15, 1928 at Blue Jay, Raleigh Co., West Virginia, at age 33.²

"Thena" Wills was born circa 1887 at Summers Co., West Virginia.¹ As of January 29, 1908,her married name was Hall.¹ She married Vinson Callaway "Blackeye" Hall, son of Freeburn Asa Hall and Shrilda Sara Catherine Ball, on January 29, 1908 at Beckley, Raleigh Co., West Virginia.¹ Lythema M. "Thena" Wills died in 1915 at West Virginia.²

Toler was born circa 1900 at Camp Creek, Mercer Co., West Virginia.¹ As of September 4, 1952,her married name was Hall.¹ She married Vinson Callaway "Blackeye" Hall, son of Freeburn Asa Hall and Shrilda Sara Catherine Ball, on September 4, 1952 at Hinton, Summers Co., West Virginia; Vinson was divorced and Rena was widowed.¹

     His Social Security Number was 400-14-2754.³ Walter Marcus Hall was born on November 16, 1890 at Farley, Summers Co., West Virginia.^1,4,5,2,3 He married Alma Ellen Bolen on February 20, 1911 at Beaver, Raleigh Co., West Virginia.^1,6 Walter Marcus Hall married Belle Caine on January 16, 1946.² Walter Marcus Hall died on March 28, 1956 at South Bend, St. Joseph Co., Indiana, at age 65.^2,3 He Walter M. Hall, 2005 Elwood Ave., died today in Memorial Hospital. He was born in Pipestem, W. Va., Nov. 16, 1890, and came here 10 years ago from Huntington, W. Va. He married Belle Caine, who survives Jan. 16, 1946. Also surviving a son, Darrell, of White Oak, Ky., a step son John Caine, of California; three daughters, Mrs. Wishard Salyer, of Teagarden, Ind., Mrs. Dolla Tackett, of Plymouth, O., and Mrs. George McQuire, of Barrett, W. Va; three brothers, John, of Odessa, N. Y., Vincine, of Pipestem, and Dallas, of Maryland, and three sisters, Mrs. Virgie Wyrick, of Pipestem, Mrs. Nannie Webb, of Clinton, Md. and Mrs. Zelpha Bollen, of Odessa. on March 28, 1956.²

     Alma Ellen Bolen was buried at Blue Grass Cemetery, Salyersville, Magoffin Co., Kentucky.⁴ She was born on February 8, 1895 at Summers Co., West Virginia.^2,4 As of February 20, 1911,her married name was Hall.² She married Walter Marcus Hall, son of Freeburn Asa Hall and Shrilda Sara Catherine Ball, on February 20, 1911 at Beaver, Raleigh Co., West Virginia.^1,2 Alma Ellen Bolen died on June 24, 1940 at Salyersville, Magoffin Co., Kentucky, at age 45.⁴
