She enjoyed being a Cub Scout and Brownie leader when her three children were young. Elizabeth was a life member of the DAV Auxiliary and held various esteemed offices. She was also an ambitious owner of various business enterprises, with one being the regional director and owner of Trade Bank of Georgia. She was an avid reader of the Bible and enjoyed sharing scriptures with others. Her zest for life and beautiful personality was an inspiration to us all. Elizabeth was greatly loved by her family and friends and will be sadly missed by all. Her brothers, Glen Hudnall and Johnny Hudnall, preceded her in death. Her sisters, Ethel Searls and Barbara Richards, also preceded her in death. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Paul F. Tenney; her children, Dr. Amanda Fichter, Gregory Tenney and Darlene Eubanks; her surviving brothers, Roosevelt Hudnall and Joe Hudnall; sisters, Freda Atkinson, Louise Martin and Joetta Pauley; and grandson, Matthew Tenney. Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. A celebration of Elizabeth's life will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 8, at Cooke Funeral Home, Nitro. Burial will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans. on April 7, 2011.6

He was born and raised in West Virginia. At the age of 16, he moved to Evansville with his brother, Edgar, deceased. He worked for Bucyrus Erie, Arkla Industries, and Burt's shoe store. Otto was a tank commander in the National Guard. Otto loved baseball, where he got the nickname ‘Hot Ott', horse shoes, bowling, fishing, and was an avid pool player. He had won many contests and awards for these activities. He enjoyed gardening. He was a member of West Side and Oak Hill Church of Christ. Otto is survived by his wife of 58 years, Phyllis (Fisher) Hudnall; son, David Hudnall (Nancy); son, Jeffrey Hudnall (Anita); daughter, Ann Kay Newcomb (Gauer); grandchildren, April Gauer, Michael Gauer, Amy Holland, Amanda Donaldson, Matt Hudnall, Chad Hudnall, Jill Gelhausen, Allison Berger, Nathan Tillotson, Paul Tillotson, and Sarah McGee; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Thomas Hudnall; brother, Vernon Hudnall; sister, Georgia Persinger; sister, Juanita Gilbert; and many nieces and nephews. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, July 31, 2010, at Alexander Memorial Park Heritage Chapel, 2200 Mesker Park Drive, officiated by Minister Dan Wade with entombment to follow. Friends may visit Friday from 2 to 8 pm at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 W. Illinois Street. on July 29, 2010.1

George Albert Allen "Hooter" Hudnall was buried at Mountain State Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Kerns, Randolph Co., West Virginia.3 He George Albert Alan "Hooter" Hudnall, age 73 years, a resident of Elkins, departed this life early Thursday evening, November 13, 2014 at the Monongalia General Hospital at Morgantown, WV. He had been in declining health. He was born Friday, August 15, 1941 at Birchton, WV a son of the late Albert Hudnall and Ivy Myrtle Stanley. On May 10, 1969 at Silver Springs, MD, he was married to the former Carol May Vandevender, who survives. They had celebrated forty five years of marriage. Also surviving are three daughters, Karen Marie Currence and husband Jeff, Denise Lynne Campbell and husband Ric, all of Elkins, and Patricia Ann Vollmer and husband Tom of Loveland, OH; one brother, Thomas Edgar Hudnall and wife Mary of Milton, WV; two sisters, Jacqueline Desler and husband Jim of IN, and Jean H. Davis and Garland of SC; five grandsons, Josh, Lance, Garrett, Matthew and Logan. He attended East Bank High School in Kanawha County. He was a diesel mechanic for the Giant Food Company for many years and retired from the West Virginia Dept. of Highways District 8, as a master mechanic. He was an active member of the Elkins Family Worship Center. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was known as a practical joker and was a Nascar fan. The family will receive friends at the Elkins Family Worship Center on Taylor Avenue on Monday, November 17, 2014 from noon until 2 PM. At 2 PM at the church, a funeral ceremony will be conducted by the Rev. Jamie Estep and the Rev. Eli Hostetler. Interment will follow at the Mountain State Memorial Gardens at Gilman, WV.3 He was born on August 15, 1941 at Birchton, Raleigh Co., West Virginia.4,3 He married Carol May Vandevender on May 10, 1969 at Silver Spring, Montgomery Co., Maryland.3 George Albert Allen "Hooter" Hudnall died on November 13, 2014 at Morgantown, Monongalia Co., West Virginia, at age 73.4,3
