     Larry McArthur Kinzer Larry M. Kinzer, 74 of Bluewell, WV passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2016, at The Maples Nursing Home. He had lived at 262 Bluewell Ave. with his wife, Mary, for 43 years. Born April 6, 1942, in Montcalm, WV, he was the son of Ezra Kinzer and Nellie Riggs Kinzer. Larry was educated in McDowell County Schools. He was of the Pentecostal faith and gave his life to the Lord under the preaching of Steven Umberger who ministered to him at the nursing home. Larry learned his carpentry trade at a young age from his grandfather, Gilbert Riggs. Larry then moved to Martinsville, VA, where he worked for several construction companies. After coming back to Bluewell he was the major developer of Bluewell Estates, having built eleven homes in that development. He then built Kinzer Apartments as well as Kinzer’s Coin-Op Laundry in Bluewell. A few years later, he developed Clearview Mobile Home Park and Kinzer’s Mobile Home Park, also in Bluewell. Throughout his life he and his wife, Mary, ran these businesses together, until his health began to decline. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Greg, and a brother, Ralph. Larry is survived by his wife of 43 years, Mary Cline Kinzer of the home, two sons, Richard Kinzer and wife Christine of Bluewell and Larry Allen Curry Kinzer of Martinsville, VA., one brother Wendall Kinzer of Columbia, SC. and multiple family members as well as lifelong friends in the area.² He was buried at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Bluewell, Mercer Co., West Virginia.³ He was born on April 6, 1942 at Montcalm, Mercer Co., West Virginia.² He married Mary Ann Cline, daughter of Herbert Chalmer Cline and Lillian Frances Paxton, circa 1973.^1,4,2 Larry McArthur Kinzer died on November 6, 2016 at Bluewell, Mercer Co., West Virginia, at age 74.²

Omar Rucker and wife, Pauline, of Charleston; five grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren, 11 stepgrandchildren and 20 stepgreat-grandchildren. Graveside service will be in the Rucker Cemetery, Jordan Creek. on May 28, 2010.⁵

She was also preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Henry Delbert Tucker; step-son Hank Tucker; step-daughter, Connie Walker; and brother, Grover (Sylvia) Paxton. Sandra was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She attended Spring Fork Baptist Church. She retired from the State of WV with 20 plus years of service. Sandra loved to take care of & help people. She enjoyed crocheting in her pastime and had a special talent for spoiling her grandchildren & great-grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca (Mike) Pritt; sons, Tim Stricker, Larry (Renay) Stricker, and Mark Stricker; step-daughters, Vonetta (Steve) Horan, Jackie Stover, Rita (Tony) Gaylor, and Crystal (Dan) Stepp; eleven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.      Raymond Maxwell Stricker was buried at Graceland Memorial Park, South Charleston, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.¹ He Raymond Maxwell Stricker "Matthew", 86, of Charleston, passed on to be with the Lord, Friday, October 29, 2021 with his family by his side. He was born, in Charleston, West Virginia to the late Benedict & Ella Murphy Stricker and was also preceded in death by his stepmother, Dorothy Dale Stricker, daughter-in-law, Misty Humphreys Stricker, and his beloved Boxer, Max. Surviving, his wife of 46 years, Helena Olson Stricker; step-daughter, Cynthia (Judy) McFarland; sons, Timothy Stricker, Larry (Renay) Stricker, Mark Stricker; daughter, Rebecca (Mike) Pritt; eleven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great- grandchildren. Raymond was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He graduated from Elkview High School in 1954 and served in the 130th Air National Guard for eight years with the military police. He retired from the United States Postal Service with thirty-five years of service and was a member of the Mount Calvary Baptist Church, where he served as a treasurer. He enjoyed all sports and observing the wildlife. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at the Oakridge Center (Complete Care) and Kanawha Hospice for the compassionate care provided for Raymond. He was fond of everyone he met and considered everyone his family including his church family. He was the owner of Paxton Construction Company and completed many projects around the Kanawha Valley and surrounding areas. More importantly to him, he was a loving and devoted son, brother, husband, father and grandfather, and spent his days doing everything he could to make those around him happy. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sylvia Sodder Paxton; one sister, Sandra Tucker of Charleston; one son, Grover Eric Paxton and his wife, Elisabeth, of Richmond, Va; one daughter, Jennie Paxton Henthorn and her husband, Marshall, of St. Albans; three grandchildren, William Paxton, Sylvia Paxton and Andy Henthorn; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Burial will be in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans. on March 19, 2014.³

He was born September 15, 1922, in Hugheston and was a son of the late Harry and Mamie Della Proctor Tucker. Henry was retired from the Pipefitters Union Local 625 and was a U.S. Army World War II veteran. He was a member of Central Baptist Church, Charleston, and Masonic Lodge 27 AF&AM, Malden. He was preceded in death by wife, Freda; daughter, Connie Walker; stepdaughter, Brenda Halstead; siblings, Carmel Tucker, Theo Audel Tucker Sr., Maywood Tucker, Clifford Tucker, Beryl Tucker, Roscoe Tucker, and two infant brothers. Henry is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Tucker; daughters, Vonetta Horan, Jacque Stover, Rita Gaylor and Crystal Stepp; son, Henry D. "Hank" Tucker Jr; stepsons, Tim Stricker, Larry Stricker and Mark Stricker; stepdaughter, Rebecca Pritt; sisters, Sarah King and Isabelle Allman; 16 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 16 stepgrandchildren; and 14 stepgreat-grandchildren. The world lost a unique individual when our dad passed away. He was a father, a daddy (to some in heart, if not by birth), a papaw, a teacher, helper, a jokester and a friend to many. The world will never be the same without him. God has us in his hands as we say goodbye to someone who had "all" the answers. The burial will follow the service with military graveside rites and Masonic rites in Elk Hills Memorial Park, Big Chimney. on April 20, 2010.³

Carte, 55, of Frame passed away Sunday, May 1, 2005, in CAMC General Hospital after a sudden illness. John was a 1968 graduate of Herbert Hoover High School, owned and operated his own drywall company and was an avid bowler in the Kanawha Valley for several years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy; daughter, Maria; and father, Howard Carte. Surviving are son and his wife, Joseph and Jennifer Carte of Beaufort, S.C; daughter and her husband, April and Jimmie Yoak of Elkview; stepdaughter, Tammy Perrine of Frame; stepson, Michael Conley of Big Chimney; Mother and stepfather, Hester and Denver Rucker of Frame; brother and his wife, Ernie and Donna Carte of Cross Lanes; sisters and their husbands, Mary and Joe Smith of Frame and Inez and Ray Milam of Falling Rock; stepbrothers and their wives, Denver Jr. and Luann Rucker of Clendenin and Benny and June Rucker of Conroe, Texas; stepsister and her husband, Shirley and Ray Smith of Conroe, Texas; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Burial will be in the Carte family cemetery, Big Fork Road, Frame. on May 5, 2005.¹
