On Sept. 19, 1958, in London, W.Va., he married Dolly R. Foster, who survives. He was employed by Precision Industries for 24 years, retiring in 2000. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Rita Huffman of Corona, Calif., Rhonda and Kurt Bolenbaugh of Elkhart; two grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Billie and Charles Canterbury of Cincinnati, Ohio, Judy and Tom Peters of Charleston, W.Va; brothers and sisters-in-law, the Rev. Kenneth and Tana Huffman of London, W.Va., Jerry and Judy Huffman of Charleston. Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, April 10, at Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home, Elkhart. Lovell George "Huff" Huffman and Ruth Elizabeth Douglas, on February 24, 1969 at Pearisburg, Giles Co., Virginia.1,2 Patricia Dea Jones died on May 29, 2003 at Hurricane, Putnam Co., West Virginia, at age 68.4,1 She Hurricane - Patricia "Pat" Dea Huffman, 68, of Hurricane, W.Va., went to rest in her heavenly home on Thursday, May 29, 2003. In the presence of family, Pat passed away peacefully at home after a lengthy illness with complications from diabetes. Pat was born Sept. 18, 1934, in Lawton, Okla., to John Henry and Iva Mae Duck Jones. When Pat was 18 months old, her father passed away. Four years later, Pat was blessed with her "daddy" when Iva married Vernon "Dilly" Carson Dillahunty. Pat was raised and attended schools in Lawton. No matter where she lived she always considered Lawton, "home." She was a retired beauty operator and homemaker. Pat married Hubert Lovell Huffman, Feb. 24, 1969. He preceded her in death Feb. 9, 1999. She and Hubert shared 30 years of love and enjoyed their family, friends, travel, fishing, mini-sprint car races, playing cards, gambling and Oklahoma Sooner football. Their travels to visit family and friends were cherished times. Together they always went to see their newly born great-grandbabies and to see their grandchildren and great-grandchildren participate in their various sports, cheerleading and school activities. Pat continued this tradition after Hubert passed away. Pat was baptized in 1990 at the Eight and Lee Church of Christ in Lawton. She was a member of Ladies Auxiliary VFW # 1193, Lawton, Okla; Chapter # 39 Eastern Star, Duncan, Okla; and a recipient of the Grand Cross of Colors for distinguished services from the Order of the Rainbow for Girls. We know Pat protects us as she watches from above. Our beloved mother, nanny, great-nanny(granny grump), sister, aunt and friend, Patricia, we love you and will miss you greatly. We have been blessed to have you in our lives. Patricia leaves to treasure her memory five children and their spouses, the Rev. Reina / Ramona Lucero and the Rev. Patricia will be remembered as a woman with a strong and deep love for her family and will be dearly missed for her love, support, encouragement and devotion. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 1, 2008, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Nahum Balser officiating. Burial with Masonic graveside rites will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. on September 29, 2008.5

Institute - A Charleston man was killed early Saturday in a head-on collision between two pick up trucks on WV 25, Kanawha County Sheriff's Officals said. Billy Edward Huffman, 43 of 618 Belle Dr., was pronunced dead on the scene following the 2:50 a.m. accident, a spokesman for the Kanawha County Sheriff Department said. The other man involved in the accident Paul E Lane Jr., 24 of Poca, was not injured. Lane was charged with driving under the influence and driving right of center lane, the spokesman said Lane was arraingned in Kanawha County Magistrate Court saturday and released on $1,000 property bond, a court spokesman said. According to the sheriffs department, the accident occured when Lane who was driving west on WV 25, slipped into the opposing lane of traffic hitting Huffman's truck head on. Huffman was assistant body shop foreman for Moses Cadillac-Buick-GMC Truck Inc. and was a coach for a girls softball team in the St. Albans Parks and Recoration League. He was a life long resident of Kanawha County. Surving wife Patrica McCormick Huffman son, Airman 1st Class Billy Edward Huffman Jr., stationed in Turkey daughter Laura Gail Huffman at home, Father Rev. Lovell G. Huffman of Charleston; brothers Raymond Harold of Big Chimney and Hubert Lovell of Walters Okla. Friends may call from 7 to 9pm Monday at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar on July 19, 1987.2
