Born October 10, 1924 at Madams Creek in Summers Co. She was the daughter of the late Lonza L. and Nina S. Deeds Reed. Margie was a beloved sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. As long as her health permitted she was a member and attended Mount Olivet Church at Madams Creek. After working for G.C. Murphy during World War II she then became a wonderful mother and homemaker. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Donald Hamm in June 1997, one sister, Lucille Reed of Madams Creek and two brothers Allen Reed and wife Macie of Madams Creek and Ronald Reed of Hinton. Margie is survived by two sons, Donnie Hamm and wife Carmen of Hinton and Doug Hamm and wife Patty of Norton, VA. Four grandchildren J.D. Hamm and wife Tara of Kingsport, TN, Melissa Hamm Humphreys and husband Ted of White Sulphur Springs, Sherry Hamm Sheehan and husband Gerry of Petaluma, CA and Rebecca Hamm Wiant and husband Richie of White Sulphur Springs. Two step grandchildren Joey Stacey of Stafford, VA and Maria Stacey Marvin of Hinton. Three great grandchildren, Bruce and Rozalynn Humphreys and Kaylee Wiant all of White Sulphur Springs. Margie was expecting her fourth great grandchild from Petaluma, CA. Three step great grandchildren, Christie and Joey Stacey of Stafford, VA and Kenny Marvin of Hinton. One sister, Frances Meadows of North Kingstown, RI and two brothers, James Reed and wife Janice of Pipstem and Harold Reed and wife Juanita of Hinton. Thirteen nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews also survive. Additional caregivers include Delores Hopkins, Frances Adkins, Mariyln Gunther, Jeannie Cales, Judy Arthur, and Dee Dee Cales all of Hinton. Funeral services will be 2 PM Thursday at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Phillip Lilly officiating. Burial will follow in the Reed Family Cemetery on Madams Creek. Harold served his country proudly in the United States Air Force from 1951 until 1959 during the Korean Conflict. He worked as a meat cutter for most of his life. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church at Nimitz. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather. Survived locally by a daughter Brenda Bell of Columbus, GA, two grandchildren, Aleesha Bell Valentine and husband Todd of Canton, MI and Nicholas Bell of Columbus, GA and one great granddaughter Savannah Valentine of Canton MI. Funeral services will be held Tuesday October 16, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel in Hinton with Pastor William R. Ballengee officiating. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church for over 35 years and instrumental in establishing the church library. Prior to becoming ill, she was an avid reader and quilter. Dean and Bea cherished camping trips with dear family friends: the annual church trip to Philpott Lake in the 70s when they often arrived early, along with gospel singing events at Watermelon Park and The Smokies during the 80s and 90s. Funeral Services will be held at Grace Baptist Church on 1527 Gilford Avenue at 1 p.m. on Monday, May 16, 2011. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park with Pastor Dale Mullinix officiating. on May 15, 2011.3

Renth Arland Graham was buried at Jacksonville Burial Ground, Rt. 8, 0.25 miles south of Floyd, Floyd Co., Virginia.3,5,7 He was born on January 6, 1913 at Alum Ridge, Floyd Co., Virginia.3,4,6 He died on January 23, 1942 at Christiansburg, Montgomery Co., Virginia, at age 29.3,5 He Renth Graham, 26, son of Clayton Graham and Mrs. Della Slusher Graham (I believe this is his mother, she actually did not die in the accident), died as a result of injuries suffered in an automobile accident near here Wednesday morning. Burial was to be in Jacksonville cemetery here. Young Graham also leaves two brothers and five sisters, one of the latter of whom was with him in the accident with an aunt, but both escaped serious injury. Young Graham was unconscious when removed from the wreck. A passenger car Graham was operating collided with a pulpwood laden truck headed toward Radford half a mile from here on the Christiansburg road, according to Sheriff Williams and Charles Gardner, county policeman, who investigated. The truck was driven by Hugh Harman, according to the officers. on January 24, 1942.7

Born June 28, 1917 in Radford, VA, she was the daughter of Lannie and Agnes (Graham) White. Thay was a 1936 graduate of Howell High School and retiree of Howell Electric Motors. She was a member of the Howell Chapter #372, O.E.S., member and past Worthy High Priestess of the Howell Corinthian White Shrine and member of the Arbor Shrine #54. Beloved wife of the late Vern Priest (1965) and the late Fred Bonnell (1972). Survived by her nephew, James (JoAnn) White of Northville and niece, Leigh (Pat) Durkin of Oxford; great nieces and nephews, Lorie Norgan, Jason White, Jeff and Steve Durkin; great-great niece and nephew, Kayla Norgan and Hunter White. She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
