The funeral for Mr. Lester, who died of cancer Friday at his Marietta residence, will be at 2 p.m. today at Sandy Springs Chapel Funeral Directors. He founded Pate & Lester, a Marietta-based medical marketing firm, in 1984 with Orlando businessman Harold Pate. The company, which employs seven people, sells medical supplies to hospitals in seven Southeastern states. Mr. Pate grew up on his father's dairy farm in Christiansburg, Va., and earned a marketing degree from Georgia Tech in 1953.
