She was co-owner of Anchor Sales and Service, Inc. Surviving are her husband, Leo B. Trenor; sons and daughters-in-law, Mark A. and Tenita Trenor, Mikel L. and Sheryl Trenor, all of Salem; grandchildren, Abby Trenor, Nathan Trenor; mother, Esther V. Brown, Roanoke; sisters, Norma Jean Dearing, Roanoke, Shelley Vaughan, Vinton. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to the Shriners Crippled Childrens Hospitals, C/O Kazim Temple, 628 Campbell Ave. S.W., Roanoke, Va. 24011. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, November 27, 1993 at Oakey's North Chapel, by the Rev. Walter L. Wood. Interment will follow in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Oakey's North Chapel. on November 26, 1993.3

She was born on June 20, 1939, daughter of the late Esther Mae Vest Brown and Damon David Brown. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Trenor. Jean was retired from Kroger and Roanoke City Schools – Bus Services where she served as a special needs bus aide. She was a member of Layman Church. Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Ann M. Durham (Mike); sons, David W. Dearing (Michelle) and Jeff S. Dearing (Melinda); sister, Shelley Wainwright (Jack); seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and her former husband, Versal Dearing. The family would like to thank Richfield Recovery and Care Center. on November 5, 2020.4

W., Roanoke, Virginia.5 His Social Security Number was 228-38-0644.6 He was born on July 28, 1933 at Roanoke, Virginia.4,6,5 He married Patricia Ann "Pat" Brown, daughter of Damon David Brown and Esther Mae Vest, on June 27, 1953 at Roanoke, Virginia.1,2,3,5 Leo Bazil Trenor died on November 11, 2004 at Roanoke Co., Virginia, at age 71.6,5 He Leo Bazil Trenor, 71, of Roanoke, departed this life unexpectedly on Thursday, November 11, 2004 at a local hospital. He was born July 28, 1933 in Roanoke, where he lived all his life. He was the son of the late Willie C. Trenor and Mina Obenshain. As all who knew Leo, also known as "Batfish" to many, knows he was a one of a kind character. He loved his many model T's, tractors, and his farm, where he spent many hours of his day. Leo was the head meat cutter at Kroger for 19 years before opening Anchor Truck Accessories, which he owned with his son Mike. He was also the owner of the Automotive Radiator Shop and was president of Cranky T's Model T Club. He served in the Virginia State Automotive Dealers Group as an executive director and lobbyist and was a strong member and friend to Virginia's Republican Party. He was also a member of the Kiwanis Club, Kazim Temple and Masonic Lodge. Surviving are his wife, Helen Davis Trenor of Roanoke; son, Mark A. Trenor of Salem, son and daughter-in-law, Mikel and Sheryl Trenor; grandchildren, Abby and Nathan Trenor of Salem; and brother, E. C. Trenor of Roanoke. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Patricia B. Trenor who died in November of 1993. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 16, 2004 at 11 a.m. at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home Chapel in Salem with Rev. Harry Miller officiating. Interment will be held immediately following the service at Cedar Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday November 15, 2004 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. and until the time of service on Tuesday at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Gardner Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Clyde Bishop, the Rev. R. J. Buttery and the Rev. James Lawson officiating.
