He will be sadly missed by his two sons, Kevin Beckner and Alex Beckner of Brunswick, Ga; his companion of four years, Sheila Poore of Browning Lambert Mountain; one brother, Barry Beckner of Rock, W.Va; four sisters, Alma Jones of Virginia Beach, Va., Patricia Barron of Washington, D.C., Priscilla Smith of Bristol, Va. and Paula Christian of Rock, W.Va.. Also, he will be missed by his church family. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Mount Grove Community Church on Browning Lambert Mountain with the Reverend Edward Mabe officiating. on January 26, 2012.⁶
