Johnson Jr. was born on August 28, 1959.2 He died on August 1, 2006 at Roanoke Co., Virginia, at age 46.1,2 He Police have identified a man who jumped off a bridge into the Roanoke River, and ruled his death a suicide. A witness saw Todd T. Johnson Jr., 47, of Salem leap from the roughly 160-foot-high bridge along the Blue Ridge Parkway in Roanoke County near Vinton, said county police Lt. Chuck Mason. Police were notified about 1 p.m. Officers and rescue personnel pulled Johnson from the river. He was taken to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital and died later on August 3, 2006.3 He Todd T. Johnson, Jr., 46, of Salem, passed away August 1, 2006. A private family service will be conducted at a later date. Arrangements by John M. Oakey and Son, Salem.
