She will be remembered as someone that had a tremendous work ethic as she never left a job unfinished, as someone who loved planning family gatherings, as she loved spending time around those she loved, but above all, she will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother, and will truly be missed. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cox was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Saunders. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Carson Cox; sons, Ricky Akers and wife, Joyce, and Fred Akers and wife, Penny; daughter, Diane Guthrie and fiance, Ralph Lovern; brothers, Cecil Saunders and wife, Debbie, Arnold Saunders and Donald Saunders; sisters, Bea McNeil and husband, Morris, and Frances Matz and husband, Larry; grandchildren, Michael Stafford, Kevin Stafford, Amanda Akers and Megan Akers. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
