Myer’s Florida, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Stein Hospice Care Center. James was born on September 2, 1931 in Bristol, VA to the late James and Effie Mae (Creighad) Clark. James was employed with Sandusky Foundry Machine from 1956 – 1971 and later owned and operated The Country Tavern, Sands Lounge and many various establishments in Sandusky from 1971 – 1992. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army Airborne. James was also a founder and past president of the Sandusky Foundry Credit Union, a life long member of the AMVETS post 17, and the Sandusky IAB Club. In his spare time he enjoyed golfing, fishing, cooking, baking his traditional holiday fruitcake, and most of all, spending time with his family and friends in Ft. Myer’s Beach. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann (Calabria) Clark, whom he married on June 25, 1955; daughter, Michelle (James) George of Milan; son, James L. Clark of Toledo; 3 grandchildren, Joseph Gesuele, Nicole Spencer, and Katie Clark; and 4 great-grandsons, Anthony, Liam, Dawson, and Connor. Mary Ann Clabria Mary Ann (Calabria) Clark, 86, residing in Norwalk and formally of Ft. Myers, FL, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at Fairview Hospital in Cleveland. Mary was born on August 6, 1935 in Sandusky, OH to the late Lewis Calabria and Viola M. Grahl. In her early years, Mary was employed with Grill Meats Inc, then later owned and operated The Country Tavern, the Sands Lounge and many other various establishments in Sandusky from 1971 to 1992. Mary's most treasured years were in Ft. Myers, where she was a board member of Royal Woods, where she organized their community holidays and events. In her spare time, she enjoyed shelling, swimming, entertaining, playing Mahjong, and the occasional trip to Bone Fish for Bang Bang Shrimp and Cucumber Margaritas. Mary is survived by her son, James L. Clark of Toledo; daughter, Michelle (Jim) George of Norwalk; grandchildren, Nicole (Aaron) Spencer of Huron, Joseph (Dana) Gesuele of Bellevue and Katie (Andy) Ostrosky of Toledo and great-grandchildren, Anthony, Liam, Dawson, Connor and Vivian. In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by husband, James E. Clark in 2016; two heavenly daughters, and step-father, Richard Grahl. Burial will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.1 She was buried at Meadow Green Cemetery, 2602 Bogart Road, Huron, Erie Co., Ohio.1 She was born on August 6, 1935 at Sandusky, Erie Co., Ohio.1 She married James Elvin "Jimmy" Clark, son of James Sunlocks "Doc" Clark and Effie Mae Craighead, on June 25, 1955 at Sandusky, Erie Co., Ohio.1,2,3 As of June 25, 1955,her married name was Clark.2 Mary Ann Clabria died on June 2, 2022 at Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., Ohio, at age 86.1
